Since noone's touched on it, I'm not at all a fan of the Chameleon sprite.
I think for Chameleon you really should be looking at the two established styles. That is, the translucent colour swapping character from MKT and/or the recent build from MKA.

The patchwork quilted version you've got there just isn't attractive, at all.

I'd also agree with the sentiments of other posters regarding MK1 sprites.
Although, if you can make MKT characters like Cage work, I think that's a pretty decent way to go.

Be good to see some rolling previews of this sometime.

all right im just saying...never said i was better than arctic but my sprites aren't truly horrible... anyways id love to see a video from your game but seriously if screenshots look like a noob's fake than you really need to improve some stuff like sprite placement and where the lifebars go. maybe read some tuts? like people say the sprites from different games don't blend just use mkt sprites and get like arctic or someone to edit mk3 sprites to make the other attires(primary, alternate, w/e) or just add more effects. i hope it turns out good and i am hoping to play it on newgrounds sometime in the near future.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Please, please, please, don't use your own sprites. Very unappealing.

Depending on how much time I have to do it, I may touch up the sprites to make them look better, or ask for a volunteer to assist. Right now, stuff like Reiko and the lifebars are placeholders. I'm working mostly on the engine at this time. It's the hardest thing, so I'm trying to get it out of the way first.

It's not very helpful, may I recommend using a better program like Flash. If so, I do sprites as well. Not so many though. Doing an entire spritesheet is beyond me! I will though someday.

To Mighty Meat Lord: Yes, I know you hate me, but you do make a excellent point on me doing good sprites.
