Well if you say its proper its proper. I based my character off of the next MK and not MK9.

The general idea is to keep it within this timeline is all. Whether you want it to be at the beginning in MK1, in the middle with MK2's story or at the end during or immediately following MK3 is up to you. I'm trying not to be too discriminating with that. I just want everyone following this new timeline, for better or worse, because it's easier to have everyone in the same place that way.

Regrettably, I'm honestly not very good at coming up with original characters.

I've always kinda wanted to do a fanfic game plot with a whole roster, including new characters, like XiahouDun used to do in the future games forum, but I've always kinda held off on it because some of my ideas struck me as too similar to or derivative of ones he had first.

And besides, I'm much more concentrated on doing my costume redesign art for MK1 thru A first, a project which'll take years to complete.

If we go past 64 I say we try to get 128 entries. Of course I don't think we could get that many. But let's try anyway! Excelsior!

Much like I did for the first 24, I will confirm the slots for the first 56 here, leaving the last 8 slots up for grabs in case we have any spillover. Once we hit 64, I will announce a two week deadline for entrants to finish up any changes or submit any art. If we are anywhere close to 128 (somehow) by that time, maybe 128 is a possibility.

It's probably going to be 64 though, but since I have yet to give any deadlines I don't want to hold anyone out.

Oh thank god there's two weeks. I can redo that shitty sketch. XD Would be cool if we could get 128 but 64 entries is still a huge amount.

List is updated, and we're currently 3 short of 64. Once we reach 64, those of you that emailed me concepts and have not yet told me your account name will be moved to the bottom of the list. You will still be in the tournament for now, but you will be in danger of being replaced by persons who submit characters and let me know who they are on the site.

As I said, I'll give a two week notice to everyone (hopefully tonight when we hit 64). If we're near 96 or 128, I'll consider postponing the deadline.
