Please excuse the double post, but please ignore the errors that are made within this submission. I was in a hurry to submit this, and it's not to my liking. I am revising a new submission now, and will submit a good copy of it as soon as I can.

Again, sorry for the double post.

It's not too bad actually. Yes, there are some little errors here and there, but it doesn't greatly detract from the overall submission. For the actual storywriting itself, the only problem I see is Kung Lao being in the Shaolin temple. If I'm not mistaken, he returned there a bit before or during the attack by Baraka and his Tarkatan forces.

Thanks. It's not really a movie script, but it's a play/story.

Well, in my revised edition, I have Kung Lao leave right after Liu does. Then that's when I figure the Tarkatan forces attack the Shaolin temple.

Actually, it was because of Shang Tsung's defeat and the idea of the tournament in Outworld that Baraka and the other Tarkata were sent to attack the Shaolin Temple. It was a means of getting Liu Kang's attention and ensuring that he would participate.

Ah, you're right. I forgot. Well, it still works. I just have Kung Lao leave right after Liu Kang. Were he would be going I wouldn't know.

I have read your MK story and what I thought about your story was that it was a little interesting, but more on the boring side though. But, I did appreciate a little bit that you took the time to come up and write the story with having the movie and videogame merge as one or something in that effect i think, and how long did it take you to come up with all this and to even write about it. I do like to see the end result, though. Anyhow, I think it is every hard to write a Mortal Kombat 3 story, isn't it than MK or MK2 story, right? And, did you really think my Mortal Kombat story of that whick is really a blueprint to the actual one that I am trying to write basically suck ass and worthless or something. If you think that way, you aren't the only one. When I told my friends at school about what I wanted to do, they practically chuckled at me...chuckled! I guess we have to see the final result on mine to see if it lives up to the true Mortal Kombat film, or that it goes far beyond the first one like what the movie Terminator 2: Judgment day has on the general public, or be as wrapped and soulless as the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation movie of which I despise so badly. But, who can write what happens next after the first Mortal Kombat movie and be absolutely correct on everything on detail after detail. Then again, I thought (and still think today) that the second movie, in general, was definately not as good or even great as the first one because the person/s who worked as well as writing the screenplay were no other than Christians. So, I think that's why Mortal Kombat: Annihilation did so badly in the box office, so-to-speak, because they have a Christian mentality and not anything different---growing up not knowing or being aware of the oriental belief systems and as well as the many countless myths that been around long before the modern times. You get my drift? That's my hypothesis for the moment. Now, here is a question for you, me, and others alike. How and why did the Emperor appear at the end of the first Mortal Kombat movie. Can you answer the "how" and "why", can you? And, here's one more question. When the Emperor appears at the Temple of Light and shows up transparently as if he were a near-visible gigantic ghostlike being or something, what do you think will happen next that follows the first Mortal Kombat film and definitely to NOT to use the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation film's story at all. Yeah, I know. It takes a lot of time to come up with a believable solution that resembles what the first film was and is like. It took me awhile just to figure that one out? So, write some more, okay? I like to see what you can accomplish. If you put a lot of effort into your works, you can go far with that type of skill. So, I hope you respone back to me, okay. Bye!

Well, for now, it is boring, because all the fighters are going to the tournament. The action will pick up, it's just like any other movie. It didn't take me long really, I just went off the first MK movie and game, and the stuff just started flowing. I had some stuff from the comics that I felt could have their place here as well. You will see an end result to this fan fic, possibly a sequel as well. The problem is, it's more on the play/story side, instead of movie script. A movie script has all the details including camera angles, (beat), (V.O), when music begins, when a black screen plays in, etc. It is hard to write an MK3 Movie, especially with the terrible one that was before it, that left no room for anything for maybe besides a Quan Chi/Shinnok alliance against Earthrealm.

Your script moves too fast, that's what was bad about it. From what I heard (1 page= 1 minute). It's too straightforward, and you're lack of detail is what makes it boring. There is room to improve though. Keep trying, instead try remaking the second MK movie or first. In order to write something, you have to do a little research to refresh your mind. To know what is canon to make the MK fans like your work, especially since it derives from the games. And I see what you're saying about MK Annihilation. Your not the only one. T2 was a great example of a series sequel, not to mention the MK TV series, MK Conquest, which, even though it wasn't canon, was great for TV and MK.

Shao Kahn (The Emperor) appearing at the end was entirely up to the director, which I thought left for a obvious sequel, instead of having that suspense as to what might happen next. It was poorly done. He appeared because he is a cheater and fed up with him losing Mortal Kombat to Earthrealm. He just wants to take Earthrealm himself.

I thought that the Emperor would lure the Earthrealm fighters into Outworld so he could take their souls himself (just like the MK2 game). However, they took the MK3 approach with Kahn retrieving Sindel in Earthrealm to allow him to take over Earthrealm, but that was poorly done as well, because in no way did it derive from the MK3 game.

There will be more fan fictions on the way.
