Okay, since this is still your first fake, I will give you some advice.

To make a fake look more realistic, you should add some lifebars and the names of the characters there too. Also, a timer should be added. These things will just make the fake look a bit more realistic.

Also, if you expect to get better ratings, put more effort. To me, this looks like you got two pics of Liu Kang, changed the red to green on one and added flames to the other, and stuck them on an existing background. Though I know you tried, you should have made your own sprites to get better results. Here is a tutorial on how to:

Alright. Some advice.

1. Don't stretch the image bigger than it should be. Leave it how it is. The sprites become terrible looking when you do.

2. You have to do a little bit more editing than just a pallette swap, and adding flames.

3. You also need lifebars.

You did a good job on the flames, but it looks more like Liu Kang on fire than Blaze.

1. There are no life bars becuase THIS IS A CLOSE UP SCREEN SHOT.
If you look at alot of gaming magazines, ones that showed mk3 pics back in the day, often they were cropped close ups. The power bars were not always visible, becuase the picture was cropped. THis was what I was going for.

2. I didnt create a background, becuase this isa fake pic that takes place in the MK3 game. If you were to fight a hidden character in MK3 that was super secret, youd most likely either fight him in noobs dorfen or the hidden portal. If you look at the background in my pic, it is noobs dorfen. I envisioned these 2 characters fighting it out in noobs dorfen for my pic. THis explains why I didnt create my own background.

3. Of course blaze looks like liu kang on fire. THats what blaze was until MKDA came out! go look at the pit II in MK2 and youll see a green pallette swapped liu kang (hornbuckle) and a liu kang with fire added on him (blaze). Duh!

3. I dont need anyones advice, just a rating and some criticism. I know exactly what I am doing. EVeything in this pic was intentional. No cutting corners.

If you know what you are doing, then I would assume you would know that 4 comes after 3. Also, if you don't want to cut corners you would have made your own sprites.

There were some aspects I didn't like and I was just telling you how to improve so your next one could be better. Finally, I am starting to like you.

well, if you are going to stand by your source (the mk2 pit2 background) then your fake is unfinished or lazily done. Blaze has brown legs with small flames going up them in the MK2 Pit2 BG. Yours has unmodified mk3 liu kang pants. Nice try.
ps- I would have editied out the head band on "Blaze" too.
