The sprites are good... the Mileena one just needs a teeny bit more...
Jade should be darkened though, so that it looks like she's actually behind the tree... but overall cool sprites and costumes... 4/5

Well, as a considered exceptional sprite editor, I must tell you. Look at Mileena's and Jade's boobs. (Not that way.) They look like you just drew on them. The best thing to do to fix this is to learn how to shade better. Look at some renders to help you with that. The backround could've been edited but I won't hold that against you. Yes as you metioned, the lifebars are not bad but they could have been placed properly and given the score and "Wins:"

So... you got yourself a pretty good fake. Nice job. Finally something from you.

I agree with Arctic also Kitana's head kind of looks like it's fused with the rest of the body,it looks like she doesnt have a neck.But the Jade is excelent.

Compared to a lot of the "first fake" threads that wind up posted here, this is a pretty good one. Like what Arctic said, the breasts don't seem realistic, but I like what you did with their outfits. I'm not a sprite editor or anything, but they look cool. Keep it up.

This is actually really good. I just think that Kitana looks like she is laughing because her hand is covering her mouth. The blood is good and the placement of the fan is great. I give this sprite (users first) a 5/5

Nice job here. At first glance I thought all the MK2 sprites were just a copy and paste job from MKW, but then I noticed all the subtle edits you made to make them look like the MKDA+ eras.

How can that fake get so much positive approval if it's just Kitana jumping on the air as Mileena is getting hit? There is no uniqueness behing it. No sprite editing. Nothing great about it. Not to hurt you feelings, but for your next fake...brainstorm something that is more kick ass and appealing.

The edits are so good, our friend Marcel didn't even notice them.

Just because people want to do things that are simple doesn't mean that those things don't look good and appealing to other people. Yea you are right there are only a few tweaks and changes but it is still good.

Looks nice. But yeah, Jade could be shaded/ made smaller, since she's hiding in the background.

First let me just say that I can't edit sprites to save my life. It looks like it takes tons of patience that I just don't have lol. I'll just stick to drawing thanks


Having said that, I gotta say that I think this is a great job. ESPECIALLY since it's only your first. From what is seen here, and if you take the great advice that was given to you in this thread, I bet you will be great at making fakes.
