As the two departed into the shadows, they could feel an ominus prescence, as if the shadow itself was trying to attack them. Suddenly, a hand shot from the darkness, grabbing Skarlett by her throat. Ermac tried to help her but he too was ambushed, their assailents were none other then the Brotherhood of Shadow. Noob was furious with Skarlett from their last encounter and wanted revenge. Not only had she slain Tanya, an asset that could've been very valuable to him, but she dared try to spill the blood of his little brother. The fact that she was a blood relation to Kahn made it all the worse for her. Noob stepped from the shadows and lifted Skarlett into mid air and suffocated her. He applied pressure to her throat and with one crack, made her spurt out blood.
Noob- Know this wench, if our paths cross once more, I will personally skin your worthless hide while you still draw breath.
Skarlett can't answer as she's loosing her breath. With that Noob lets her out of his grasp, as she falls to the ground he turns around and delivers a side kick, shooting her into a wall. Her body hits hard, causing a crack as she bounces off and hits the ground. Noob walks over to Sub-Zero and looks at what his brother has become. Sub-Zero is still weak and can only slightly make out that the figure infront of him is his brother. He charges up his ice fist, preparing to fire, but Noob just turns his back and dissapears into the shadows along with his clan.

Skarlett gets up and wipes the blood of her top. She grabs Ermac and they both teleport to an unknown location, never to be seen again.

Tanya was dead....again.She had to suffer the tormenting effects of the Netherrealm.....again.Of course she managed to escape.....again with her assassin Sareena.Skarlett would pay.She would pay big time.Tanya knew she would need every thing she had to defeat Skarlett.So she traveled to Earthrealm to find Ashrah,Sonya,and Gemini(Gemini was Jax' first love interest in MK:SF before Tasia).She succeeded in reaching them and they attempted an attack but Tanya and her assassins shrugged it off.Tanya managed to get a conversation with the three.They decided to join Tanya in the battle against Skarlett.They knew she was the real enemy.Then Tanya traveled to Netherrealm to find Sheeva.It didn't take long as you could her Sheeva's screams.She was being attacked by the Brotherhood of Shadow but Sareena,being part of the Brotherhood,got them to stop.Tanya talked with Sheeva and Sheeva readily agreed to Tanya's proposal as she wanted to get out of the Netherrealm.Then Tanya traveled to Outworld,where she located Skarlett's sister,Krimzon.Krimzon agreed willingly to help Tanya becuase Krimzon despised her sister with a fiery vengeance.Next,Tanya traveled to Edenia to find Kitana,Jade,and Sindel.Tanya stepped up to them and bowed her head and pleaded for forgiveness.The three Edenian women did not easily forgive her as they were ashamed by her treachery but once she told them why she needed their help,they agreed to help her.

Tanya then searched for Rain who she found.Tanya and Rain had been previously.........engaged.As in marriage.He agreed to help her,being her husband and all.Then she and her squad of assassins,the Edenian Royal Guard,and the Special Forces arrived in Outworld,where they located Skarlett and her team.Tanya,Mileena,Kitana,Jade,and Sindel went for Skarlett.Ashrah,Sareena,Kia,Jataaka,and Sheeva took on Ermac.Tasia,Kira,Sonya,Gemini,and Frost took Hotaru and Rain,Krimzon,Khameleon,Nitara,and Li Mei took Havik.Next they sprung their attack.One by one,Skarlett's soldiers fell,being cut asunder by the might of Tanya's team.After Havik,Hotaru,and Ermac were all eliminated,Skarlett was the only one left but she was nowhere to be found.They searched everywhere but they couldn't find her.She had gotten away.Tanya then buried the three men and placed an impenetrable binding spell that made their bodies unable to be revived or reanimated.

Then Tanya went to Earthrealm to serach for Sub-Zero.She had to know how he felt.She went to the Lin Kuei HQ and went inside.She didn't find Sub-Zero but she found someone else.There was Noob Saibot and Smoke.She walked in as Noob stared at her in amazement.

"You made it back?"

"Yes,I did.And in one piece even"

"We need to find Skarlett and kill her"

"I already invaded her base and eliminated her soldiers and her bodyguards but we couldn't find her afterwards."

"You did that all by yourself?"

"Of course not.I am very strong but I'm not that strong>"

"Oh"

"I could really use your help.What do you say?"

"I'll have to think about it."

"And ummmmm....where's Sub-Zero?"

"He's in his private room.He hasn't spoken since you died.You should really go talk to him."

"That's what I wanted to see him for"

Tanya walked to Sub's private room and saw him,sitting in a comatose state,staring into nothingness.She sat in front of him.

"Sub,I'm here."

He still wasn't paying attention.

"Sub,look at me.I'm here"

He still wouldn't listen or pay attention.

"Sub,I need to know how you feel about what I said.Please let me know as soon as possible."

Skarlett could see what was coming. So she rushed to the netherrealm and dives into the Portal Kochal. Where she shall rest never to be seen again. Unless she was re awakened.

Sub-Zero looked at Tanya. She was quite different from what she was in the battle where the two of them met for the first time. She had a hopeful look in her eyes, despite they his a mind capable of killing anyone without remorse. The mind that Sub-Zero had also.

-You are alive.
-Yes I am.
-The possibilities of this were at odds with each other I see.

Tanya hesitated, and while she looked confused and somewhat embarrased she began to speak:
-I need to tell you someth...
-Spare it. -Sub-Zeros eyes despite them being totally shrouded by the swirling energies of the kori within his veins seemed to spark with joy-
I knew why have you spared me ever since. And I apriciate it, however, to fully earn my trust and good will, you have one thing to change...
-And that would be?
-Change your ways.

While tanya looked baffled and a little stupid at the time, Sub-Zero looked sad and joyful at the same time. He got Tanya where he wanted him to be.

-Oh, I almost forgot...Sub-Zero held tanyas left hand within his chilling touch, and concentrated. Tanya yelled out in suprise as a instant pain swept through her hand, and looked quite amazed. A frozen imprint burned gently into her hand, a symbol of the Lin Kuei. The symbol was made so swift, that there was no sign of scarring on the hand, there was no back-tought in that act of giving, the emblem moved exactly like a tattoo on her hand, leaving the impression of a masterpiece body painting.

-The mark that you remembered this and Sub-Zeros words.

Tanya was stunned for a moment.She looked at her hand.Had Sub-Zero accepted her?Maybe he had.What did this mean?She stared at Sub-Zero with tearful eyes as she asked him "Why?"

He didn't reply as he went back into a state of hibernation.Tanya smiled and touched his cheek.As she walked away,she saw Sub-Zero give a smirk out of the corner of her eye.She giggled and walked away.After leaving Sub-Zero's chamber she sat down with Noob with her three assassins Kia,Jataaka,and Sareena who had all been part of the Brotherhood.Tanya left the three sisters with Noob so they could talk.Of course she knew Noob would attempt to kill them but they could handle themselves.

As Tanya walked out of the Lin Kuei HQ,she smiled with a gleam in her eyes.She walked into the sunrise.Nobody has seen her since.

Sub-Zero looked at Tanyas siluette as it disappeared in the horizon. He was satisfied. The girl was too young to understand her feelings, despite being over hundreds of years. She would find somebody in time, friends who will accept her, and friensd that would give thier lives for her, not henchmen, mercenaries and lowly snakes. She had the perception to separate theese things.

-Whish you well young one -Sub-Zero said with a smile on his face beyond the frozen armor he had to wear for a life to supress his powers. maybe in time, Tanya would become a valuable asset to the couse of good and righ-teousness.

She will forget her feelings about him quickly, and will be more concerned about others. Sub-Zero felt a little bit young. He didn't minded this. He raised his arms up.

The followed shrieking noise was heard by everyone. By Noob Saibot, his former brother, who looked at the fortress from a cliffside, by Smoke who was or is his former friend somewhere within the citadels of his binary mind, by all the others who had participated in the latest events, they all looked at Sub-Zero from a distance.

Sub-Zeros colossal whirlwind blasted up into the sunsets sky, itremendous powers unleashed by this act, Sub-Zero demonstrated his skill, his powers and his thanks toward everyone. This was however a warning for alll those who would opppose the Lin Kueis path.

The blue collumn what has been surrounded by particles of chill and a glowing mist of frozen vapor, dissipated, and a brilliant phenomenon appeared on the sky. A polar light like shower of shining snow slowly began to fell from the sky, making colors dance on the snow covered
Himalayan hills. Even the gods of this ancient mountain range seemed to put aside their differences for the time of being.

Sub-Zero walked back to the gateway and disappeared in the warm, cozy shadows of his home.

Sub-Zero was greeted by Noob and Smoke at the entrance to his temple.
Noob- Little brother, It does me proud to see how you've grown in such a short time.

Smoke walks up to his old friend and extends his hand.
Smoke- It has felt like an eternity since we were face to face. Sadly I can't stay either. My programing is conflicting with my spirit. I stand as a danger to you and your clan.
Sub-Zero- Our clan! I can get Sonya and the other Special Forces here. They can help you find yourself, just like they did with Cyrax.
Smoke- No, it's best to let me do this on my own. What ever fate holds for me I will face it. If I'm destyned to take control of my body, then it will happen. I will stay with your brother and rebuild order in the Netherealm.
Sub-Zero shakes Smoke's hand, slighty freezing his armor.
