Yeah I have esteem issues so I think this is a terrible story, however usually the stuff I do that I think blows, other people like so I figured I would post this and see what yall think.

It had come to the final battle between Onaga and Shujinko. Shujinko was determined to put to rest this evil that he had unknowingly unleashed upon the realms. Ermac joined him as they stormed the fortress. Just as they entered, the kombatants that had been enslaved by Onaga attacked. Ermac used his telekinesis to hold them off as long as he could.
"Go, get Onaga, we'€™ll handle them ourselves."€Â? Ermac yelled to Shujinko who ran into the thrown room. Suddenly an apparition appeared and shot beams into the other warriors. It was Liu Kang, he had returned to free his friends from Onaga’s enslavement. As Ermac fought them off, one by one they were freed by Liu Kang until they had all be returned to their normal selves.
Shujinko, with the combined strength of all who he had encountered faced Onaga in a fierce battle. They were evenly matched; the battle seemed like it would rage on forever, until Onaga grabbed Shujinko, took him into the air and slammed him on the ground. Shujinko was hurt and knew he wasn’t strong enough to face Onaga, he was going to lose the battle.
Elsewhere Sindel, along with Jade, had found the incantation that would restore Onaga's soul back to his body, forcing him out of Reptile. Sindel started to read the incantation but was attacked by Tanya. Jade pulled Tanya off of Sindel and held her off so Sindel could finish reading the incantation and finally stop the Dragon King. As Sindel read, Onaga could feel his soul being torn from his current body. Shujinko saw that he was weakening and took the opportunity. He called up all of the energies from the warriors and struck the Dragon King down. He watched as the essence of Onaga was ripped from the body as it returned to the small, frail Reptile, who was too weak to run away and passed out on the throne room floor.
Shujinko returned to his friends outside the throne room where Ermac was warning them of an ominous force that he felt. It was something he had felt before, something from the Netherrealm. The group left palace and a bolt of lightning struck down on front of them.
"œSHUJINKO!"Â? It was Raiden, though he was dark, angry. Shujinko stepped forward and bowed in front of the Thunder God.
"You have not only place Earthrealm, but all realms in danger. For this you must pay with your life."
"œBut Raiden,"Â? The newly reborn Liu Kang interrupted,"€œShujinko just defeated the Dragon King, he saved the realms."
"Shujinko is going to pay, and if you too wish to defy me, you can join him in death."Â?
Shujinko stopped Liu Kang and nodded to Raiden. "€œI have put the realms in danger, and if you, the protector, deem this to be the only way to ensure its safety, I will gladly die."
Raiden raised his hands to the sky and lightning lit it up. He held them out and prepared to end Shujinko’s life. And suddenly, CRACK! He was struck on the back of the head and fell to his knees.
"œRaiden, about to kill one of his precious mortals? I’m surprised; much has changed since last we met."€Â?
"Shinnok?!"Â? Shujinko yelled in surprise. The other Warriors ran up to join their friend, ready to fight off the fallen Elder God.
"€œWe beat you before, Demon, and we'™ll do it again."€Â? Liu Kang said.
"€œWait a SECOND! We killed you!"€Â? Said Quan Chi as he walked from behind Shinnok, followed by Noob and Smoke. Raiden looked back.
"But, my blast, it killed you."Â?
"€œOH, poor little Thunder God. It did kill me, and I was sent to the Netherrealm where, once again, I escaped, though it was much easier this time, being as your little friend there left the gate open when he was looking for the Kamidogu."
Raiden's gaze shot up to Shujinko for now he has put the realms at risk for a second time. Shujinko looked defeated, none of this would have happened had he just walked away from that glowing orb that sent him on a mission all those years ago. Suddenly the ground started shaking. BOOM...BOOM...BOOOM..they were gotting louder and closer. Behind the four Netherrealm minions stood a large demon.
"€œYes, this time we got a little help from Satan, he sent with us, one of his generals, LUCIFER."
The Earth warriors looked in awe at the giant demon who said nothing, just stood behind the four Netherrealm fighters. Then he stuck out his hand, and fired a blast at the Earth warriors, it threw them in all directions and he let out a low growling laugh that made the ground shake once again.
"€œWe'€™ll see you in Earthrealm, mortals, though there won'€™t be much left of it by the time you get there!" Shinnok said, as he began to laugh the team vanished.
The Earthrealm warriors slowly got to their feet and gathered around Raiden, looking for advice, like they always did. He simply shook his head.
"œWhat do you want from me? I'™ve tried protecting you and all you mortals do is put yourselves back in harms way. I'€™m through. If you want to stop this threat attacking your world than so be it, but you will be doing it without the assistance of me or the other Elder Gods. If you humans insist on getting yourselves in danger, you can get yourselves out."€Â? And with that, he vanished, leaving the Earth warriors to fend for themselves.

I found your combining of the different Endings ridiculous and completely unrelated to the Mortal Kombat storyline. Midway chooses to follow specific Endings to structure their future titles, though always keeping the boss defeated. You need to put yourself in the perspective of the characters, showing their aggression by using larger words and sentences instead of "I'm going to kill you". I can't imagine Raiden becoming that incompetent. Introducing Satan and his "general" Lucifer (which shows you haven't done your homework because Satan is Lucifer) was insanity because their universe has its version of Hell, the Netherrealm. I can see how you tried to take account of most of the Endings and where the characters came to because of them, yet you somehow forgot that Noob Saibot became the Ruler of the Netherrealm. I agree Shinnok may make a return, and I know the Noob - Smoke Ending may not have taken place in MK7, but then again how are you sure that the others did? Mortal Kombat follows a unique open-ended saga, a feature more games should incorporate. The one who strikes down Dark Raiden should be Noob Saibot, with an upgraded Smoke on one side and Shinnok on the other, with a regiment of cyborg demons behind them. Despite minor flaws which I'm sure you know you could have made, it is a good start to a beginning which could come close to the original. Keep at it! wink

One, Raiden DIDN'T introduce Lucifer as his general. Quan Chi Intruduced him as SATAN's General.

two, If you look back in Catholic dogma and demonology, Lucifer and Satan are two serpeate beings. And being that in that following it makes Satan the big guy and Lucifer less powerful so as to not have the fighters facing the ULTIMATE being.

three, the Netherrealm isn't simply their version of Hell, it IS Hell, Scoprion made refference of going to HELL. Just Netherrealm sounds niftier.

four, last I checked Noob only took over the BROTHERHOOD OF SHADOW, not all of the Netherrealm.

five, I'm not sure, but the MK games have a habit of chosing one or a couple characters and going with their endings in the next game. This is merely what I think should/could happen if they went with these characters' endings.
