I want a more reveiling Rain, not some cheap scorpion clone.

I like the artwork, I don't like the concept for Rain, it would fit scorpion, sub-zero whoever, but not rain.

The tiny ponytail is a must.

Uhh... what are you talking about that your rank isn't high enough? This is art, it belongs in the fan submission forum. All of your works are supposed to be submitted in there. Your rank doesn't mean anything about posting topics.

Looks too modern/sci-fi. Rain's from Outworld/Edenia, he should look more medieval.

Thanks for your comments. You guys looking for more medievil style like in latest games. I dont like that style at all this is why I'am trying to do something more true to the oryginal when Rain was a ninja. Maybe he looks bit to modern but for me he have to stay ninja not some kind of "Roman soldier". I will keep on trying doing concepts.

Speaking artist-to-artist, it's kinda important, when doing character design, that the clothes one wears actually fits with their personality and storyline.

A dude from Outworld or Edenia should dress like he's from Outworld or Edenia, which are both primitive worlds, and a vain, pompous douche who thinks he's a prince should dress like a prince. I can understand if you prefer the look of the UMK3 ninjas...but this honestly doesn't really look like their masks either. It looks kinda "Metal Gear Solid". If your personal preference is for high tech characters, there's always the Lin Kuei, Black Dragons, and Special Forces?

I've got your point. I'll try to do something that is more true to the story but for me it must be something completely different that his look from Armageddon. Edit: In fact your compleatly right ;) It look too modern. But I have a new idea :)
