Hm. Alright, I will give a few extra points for the layer-effects and minor pallette swapping, however..the layering was not as good as it could have been. I can see the mountians and clouds where they shouldn't be. Good effect, but poorly executed. The fatality is nothing special either...too simplistic. Another thing about the fatality, I don't think Baraka's blade would stay in Sub-Zero's head while he ripped it out. I mean, if Baraka's blades are razor sharp they would just cut through like a hot knife through butter, but I could see this happen if his blades are dull. Whatever...anyway there is no sprite editing that is apparent. Heh... Oh and the blood seems a little bland, try using more of a variety of reds next time. Good job, I guess, just work off the rust (if you are just now returning) and emphasize the details.

Wow! No doubt the spraying blood effects are awesome, and the position of Smoke's head on Baraka's blade is really well done too.
Of course more originality on the BG and sprites would be good, but I think you achieved the desired effect even without them
Excelent fake dude, Ive layed off the fakes myself for a while seeing that barely anyone responded to my last couple of entries, but yours is inspiring me to give it another shot. 7.5/10
