I wish you would stop copying everything else around you and start trying to make up something original. Since Khrome isn't going to be anything else than a piece of fanart, you don't have to think about copyright infringement and the like, but I'd like to see some originality come from you for once.

Making him all metal isn't a bad idea. Giving him human skin would just make him look more like that Terminator guy, imo. But the whole liquid metal... it's been done. It's not new or original. And making him another ninja-design just makes him even less original, but I know you've set your mind on that and I'm probably never going to convince you otherwise.

Just a question... You ask for all these things, you ask for our input, our feedback and opinions... But do you even consider anything we say at all? Because, so far, you've kept all your own ideas and not done anything suggested to you.

Noone really gave opinions to Khrome in the Khrome thread, it was mostly 'You need to start over' and 'Unoriginal'. It was RazorsEdge idea to make his hands like Sandman- Mace, Fist. EmperorKahn said to give him Chrome armour. And UltimateRyu said to make him have human skin because the other ninjas are like that. The Shredder idea came from Krinj when I showed them the 4th revision and they said "I Love THIS! I feel that the shredder look belongs with him better than SZ :) . So 5th revision was made with Sub-Zero's Deception as template.

Making him like the Terminator guy is closer to the original Khrome statue. I don't know if he should have chrome armour on Vest and sash, only use chrome armour on helmet, shin greavers. And maybe this pattern for vest+sash.

That's all you want. You want everyone else to make Khrome for you. You take other people's suggestions, you steal other people's ideas (including the Google Chrome logo), and you foolishly pay excessive money for artwork.

Well, that's nice, but NRS already has money. What they need is creativity. It seems you cannot offer that. Here's a suggestion, and an honest one.

Instead of snatching up the ideas of others, find someone with great creative skill and fund them. Help them to pursue their dreams and in turn you'll reach your own. It's a lot better than lobbying around message boards all day, I can tell you that.

Then it's not a collaboration. It just makes you a client, paying someone to do all the work.

I'm the one calling the shots. It's like my MK10 community wishlist thread. I take people's suggestions and then research it more. So yeah overseeing things.

Don't bullshit this. You're not calling anything; you're just asking people to literally give you their ideas. You're not doing any research; you're just browsing Google Images.

Actual research would require extensive time of analyzing existing fighting game franchises - including your own - and the mechanics of their characters to grasp the basis of norm quality for a fighting character, while ensuring the character you're creating does not overtly blend into or copy the crowd. You clearly haven't done any of this.

In terms of image, the most extensive research would be to analyze the mode of appearance within Mortal Kombat itself. Review the usual templates for characters and categorize them, typically by gender, place of origin, occupation, and combat style/ability, but you must also take all other data into account. Future changes in appearance mode are most critical, and they must be applied. Once you've analyzed the data, you create your character's appearance accordingly, to assure he/she fits the mode of the franchise's universe, while simultaneously having a unique appearance. You clearly have not done any of this.

Far more than browsing the internet is required when developing a character, especially a good one. You have to know your franchise as well as the franchises of your competitors. You have to know the essence of the game your character is slated to be in. You can't just go on a message board and snatch up ideas. The character must be polished.

You want to create a legitimate character? Put forth the effort.

Every time I see this guy make a thread, it's the same four people victimizing themselves and demonizing him. Granted he asks for it at times, but it's always the same clusterfuck with a different outfit.

As for the subject matter, the general shape of the Chrome logo could lead to an interesting belt design, but make the design yours. Don't recycle a logo millions of people are familiar with. That's lazy. You can do better.

I've grown weary of sitting by and watching him run rampantly, both throughout threads and PM, without a bit of proper acknowledge and enforcements against his offenses.

It is as if he was granted permission to obstruct the moment he signed up. He wants his due, and he shall have it. I will confront his misdeeds and offenses when I see them, while still offering legitimate advice (much to my surprise). I typically leave this to PM, but sometimes attention is called sooner.

You may take my choice of action how you wish; feel free to express any disapproval, as I accept that my choice isn't exactly the wisest.

Everyone keep saying that, but he manages to get your all's attention with every thread he makes over and over and over and over again.

Yeah, he does have the ability to push people's buttons with his annoying and arrogant personality which baits people into replying. I've grown weary of it though. He's not willing to change, no matter how much good and constructive criticism is sent his way and no matter how much crap and insult is thrown at him.

I'm tired of it though. I don't care anymore, about him or his Khrome.
And the less people respond to him, the less attention he gets, the faster his threads and posts will fade into oblivion. I can only control what I do, I can't tell what other people should do, but I encourage everyone to just ignore him.

Well you're never going to please everyone so there's no point in trying. One person says 'he wants Khrome as a ninja' another person says he wants a non-ninja Khrome. Since this is my project I get the final say. If u don't like the direction it's going u are free to start your own project. Rather than just talk about it, go do it if u really cared. Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk because I'm walking with out without u.
