Incredible design. Did you make that background yourself? Looks great. And the sprite edits look awesome. Shao Kahn's golden belt buckle really brings out the warrior in him. And I like how the fire is horribly misplaced and a person seemed to melt into the dirt for no reason. Sheeva's pose is also great, since she's lunging into the vomit for some reason. The text is also professional and fits into the pic perfectly. The lifebars, timer and name text all look awesome...

euhm y is the forest on fire? and the name should be above the lifebar not in the lifebar. i like the sprite of shao khan but the vomit dont look good should be improved a bit. 3/5

I think you need to try harder on your fakes though. I'm sure that if you keep trying you can be real good. Most of the great fake makers on this site started out making not-so-good fakes, but kept trying and got to a level where there fakes looked incredibly good. Maybe you can even make fakes as good as these...

That's probably my favorite MaxDam pic...Hey you kept my Onaga pic...hehe (I wanted it to just die so that only certain people who saw it knew about it...hehe...no problem though...argh I hated (and loved) making that pic in MS Paint...that was an horrible 2 weeks...heh).

And on the fake by the threadt starter. That's not a good fake at all. Like really, its not. Try editing the sprites to make it into a position that hasn't been seen before. Make your own background...(editing makes it better). If you follow by those statements...you'll gradually get better. If not, you will continue to suck. Thank you and have a nice day. (Don't stay on the path you are on...cus its dumb...:P).

You made that in MS Paint?

Yes. Everything was made in paint. The background sky was blurred (the smoke and the blood too) after made in paint...other than that...every pixel was by me. It was a very long time...it paid off though.

Wow. Some people use Photoshop and still make way crappier fakes...

Any plans on making more fakes?

Heh. Well right now I'm busy with my site (http://www.comixodez.com) and making flash movies (trying to get better at that.). I haven't made a fake in a year...hehe. I don't know if I'll ever make anymore in my life...I'm not sure. I guess I'll wait till MK7 comes out and make sprites of the newer combatants and shit like how I did with MKD. The near future...I won't be making any fakes. They take too much time...I make everything in a fake (cept the bars and all that good shit)...so its more custom than anything. I will say that my style is to make a fake look like it could be in the game. That background somewhat's (looking back at it that I could of fixed alot of stuff but it was a good fake at the time of release) could be in the game but I make the sprites out of pixels because that's how they are in the game. That's how I try to make my fakes...well, that facet...heh.

You get 1/10 because I think it's funny how you randomly pasted flames and explosions all over the place. Shao Kahn's belt buckle is kinda cute, too. Besides that, it sucks.

Well.... Its definetely better than the first fake but it seriously made me chuckly hard. I give it an 8/10 for the comedy factor.
