Here is my original fake:

Here is the new one after some suggestions from Veno:

These were an experiment fake; doing a fatality on a boss character... this is something rare I see in fakes and I decided to tackle the task!

Okay...

Short Version:
Your score is a 0.03 / 5.0

Long Version:
I give you points for doing a fatality on a boss character because yes, not a lot of people have done it. You did a good job of editing Motaro's sprite to make him look in pain. I like the idea of Nightwolf riding Motaro as he rips his head off... But overall this just is pretty lame. I liked Motaro's head in the first fake, but in the second one it looks worse. Though the background is original, it is by far one of your worst ones. You literally started pasting random shit into the fake and hoped it went well together. Seriously girl what the fuck is wrong with you?

You've made what? 12 fakes already and you're obviously running out of ideas. This is cue for you to start taking your time with your fakes which starts from the planning phase all the way through the finishing point. Who am I to talk, right? I have SIX volumes cluttered with shit-quality fakes. Obviously my words have more meaning because I've been there and done that. I made fakes for the fuck of it while I was in the heat of the moment. IT WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

I know what you're thinking before you even have to say it: "Well at least I'm actually making fakes around here, no one else is trying to bring this boring fake art community back to life!" Indeed, and I thank you for that... but that doesn't mean you have to degrade yourself by throwing around mediocre art for the sake of our entertainment.

I guess now you know why people don't fuck with boss characters. Not even the god damn MK Team had what it takes to do a fatality on them.
Ya dig?

By the way, I don't like this FUGLY new avatar of yours. =/

I think you should keep working on this concept of yours until it works.
I don't know much about making fakes, but I know that it shouldn't be necessary to kick you in your imaginary nuts to make you become better at it, so I'm not going to go on in an unnecessary rant about everything I think there's wrong with it.

However, I will say that it doesn't look right, so hopefully you can take whatever is constructive about the other more experienced fake-makers' posts and hopefully you are strong enough to ignore their tearing at you. Because, DAYUM, you fake-makers are cruel assholes! XD

Yes. Yes we are. Why?

Because I learned more from VenoMark's "this and that look like shit! Now do it again and better this time!" as opposed to Minus-Zero's "OMGzz BS, that looks super cool! Go make another fake!"

I just believe in better learning methods. Pure praise doesn't help, I totally agree with that, but being a total prick shouldn't be the only other option. I don't care for that. There's honesty and there's cruelty. You can be honest without being cruel.

Well, yes... I agree. I've actually made quite the progress in my "cruel" critiques. I was much worse. I am more constructive now. Anyway... I've gone off topic too much now.

This is where I dispel your belief (although in jest) that blacksaibot and I are twins. He and I have completely contradicting opinions of this piece and I must say that even I'm a bit surprised by that. That said, I do have to agree that the head in the first image would have been well-suited for the second version as well given its position relative to Motaro's crumpled body.

The only other complaint that I have is that the green tone of the brick backdrop is incompatible with the overall color scheme. Though I am aware of what you were attempting to accomplish, there should be a bit more brightness in the middle of the brick wall and it should grow dimmer as it progresses toward the left and right edges of the image. In spite of that, I am pleased to see that you are putting effort toward enhancing your images with realistic lighting.

I am highly impressed with how quickly you were able to apply the changes that I suggested and even implement a great deal of your own creativity. Despite being a simple decapitation, the ingenuity behind this fatality and the fact that it lets the viewer's imagination create the events that led up to Motaro's demise. I can actually envision Nightwolf climbing atop Motaro's prone body and resting on his back before sadistically wrestling the centaur's head from his tree trunk of a neck.

Overall, I award this image with a respectable rating of 7/10. Though, I do suggest that you try to use your imagination and come up with a bit more of an original fatality. Although this was executed by way of a commendable level of creativity, decapitations seldom lend themselves to imaginative alternatives.

First of all, the heads need to be switched around. Also, the first picture with Motaro's stance looks a bit awkward. I like how you used the first background as something we've seen time and time again, but then blew me away with the amazing second stage! I like the work going into it and you are phenomenal! The only thing wrong so far that I see is the green brick . . . it comes to a halt at the top of the screen. But it does give that certain "glow" to it, either from the pit glowing or the lamps, this is good.
I rate the first one: 2.9/5
I rate the second one: 4.6/5

Good job and keep it up!
*BlackSaibot comes in to ramble on about how this is the stuff like "hey good job keep it up" stuff and shit* smile
