For a first fake I'd say its pretty good. At this rate you can outdo a lot of the crap around here. Just as long as you do more than copy and paste.
Although it's your first, I'm sure you could have come up with a better fatality, or at least have done two frames to show what the aftermath would turn up as. I don't see the point of all the "glowing" around NoobSaibot. It would have been appriopriate if this were a Smoke fake in my opinion. The Saibot sprites seem so stretched out on this fake, as if you resized and blurred them.
And if you want me to get picky, the character names are in the wrong place, the number of wins are wrong, and Kung Lao's dragon logo is backwards.

It's nice, but it looks more like a fatality for Smoke.

i like it. the dark atmosphere along with the greyish black color makes a great affect. i look forward to your next fake.

I see what you are saying about the multi frames, but you are saying Noob should not look like he does and you have no real good reason. That is a style choice, if it is executed badly I would get it but come on man... it's a good fake.

Is there a good reason Noob DOES have a gray glow around him? It's more of a smoke looking effec,t which is why I think it belongs on the actual character Smoke. Like I already said, it's just my opinion. It shouldn't matter whether people think I have a good reason for liking it or not. I never said it wasn't a good fake. No reason to remind me that it is as if I said I hated it. Hell I even said it was pretty good.

Don't ask me, I did not make it. I don't know what the reason is. But I like it.

Yeah, after i submitted this one in i realised the names positions and stuff were wrong, I was using the MK3U on SNES to get a rough idea of where they should be, without realising it was different to the way the arcade version positioned it.

I put the glow around them cause they kinda dissapeard with the background if i left them by themself, and i was also just experimenting with the new plug-in but the noobs look blurred cause i didnt like the way they made him entirely pitch black in the game so i got a scorpion sprite, made him greyscale, darkened him and blurred him up to make him more shadowey

To be honest, this wasn't much more than an experiment, but Im happy overall with the way it turned out and im even more happy at the differernt responses i got, especially from you balkcsiaboot

I'm currently in the making of a new one of rain (since he's one of my favs) and i made my own background for it too! I'll try take on your advices and do a little better.
