I just had a break through.

We all know that Noob worked for Shinnok during MK2, but he was never given an oficial story. the most comon thing we've heard about his reason for being there is so he could spy on the events happening in the outworld tournament.

In MK4, Shinnok is able to escape the netherealm, with the help of tanya, and take over Edenia/Outworld, and from there declare war on the heaven's.

At some point Shinnok get his amulet back, not the real one but the fake that Raiden took in MK:M. It has never been explained how this happened.


Well, what if in MK2, Noob wasn't at the Outworld tournament at all. What if he was in Earthrealm recovering shinnok amulet. think about it.

In MK:M, Sub-zero goes into the netherealm to steal back the amulet and is succesful. he gives it to raiden who then places it back in the temple of elements for safe keeping.

Sub-zero dies in MK1 and is transformed into a wraith by Shinnok when his soul is sent to the Netherealm. (Remember shinnok tried/tries to make the netherrealm more tolerable by transforming its inhabitants into humanoid beings.)

MK2. while Raiden is distracted in outworld, shinnok sends the netherealm Wraith, Noob Siabot, into earthrealm to recover his lost amulet.

MK3. Noob Siabot was successful in recovering the amulet for his master, but before he could return to the netherealm, Outworld invades Earth. with the merger taking place, all portals are closed excluding the one between earth and outworld.

Here is the official bio for noob in MK3:

"Noob Saibot emerges from the darkest region of reality - a region known as the Netherrealm. He belongs to a group called the Brothers of the Shadow, and worships an evil and mysterious fallen Elder God. His mission is to spy on the events taking place in the battle between the realms and report back to his enigmatic leaders."

this is his ending in MK3:

"At first a passive observer, Noob Saibot would soon receive orders to side with the evil emperor Shao Kahn. Saibot's leaders in the Netherrealm want him to join Kahn's battle to gain his trust and to gain entrance into the Earth Realm. When Kahn drops his guard, Noob Saibot is ordered to attack. With both the Earth realm and the Outworld's emperor defeated, the fallen elder god known as Shinnok can take both realms and gain the power he needs to strike back at the elder gods who banished him into the Netherrealm."

MK4. Shao Kahn was defeated in the invasion of Earth, and so Queen Sindel took the throne of Outworld. In an attemp to gain more allies, she sends scouts into other realms and is supriesed when one of her new "allies" is none other than the Ruler of the Netherealm.

Noob again doesn't have a story in this game but we know that he fights for Shinnok. In the end, Shinnok is defeated and Quan Chi is sent to the to the Netherealm.

In MK5, Noob is said to be in Outworld working for Shao Kahn.

In MK6, Noob is working for himself.
