"Tis true my form is something odd, But blaming me is blaming God. Could I create myself anew, I would not fail in pleasing you. If I could reach from pole to pole, Or grasp the ocean with a span, I would be measured by the soul, The mind's the standard of the man."

Just so everyone's caught up with the rule where it regards submitted Fan Art that's been approved and subsequently posted:

As Jironobou mentioned... so long as someone is commenting on the artwork itself to make an honest critique or comment on it and not making some otiose post purely to bump it for the sake of bumping it, then commenting on an atrists' piece of work that's eight months to three many years old (let's say) is fine. However, please try to have some consideration for those who've recently had thier work posted as well and not bring up twenty to thirty old stellar pieces of JAX007s', Aculeus' (and others) submitted Fan Art all at once. wink

To be fair, I have no idea why bumping old fan art threads is frown upon.

I mean really, what's the god damn problem?

Besides, the fan art submission archive includes all art, not just the most recent. That means people who want to browse it will want to comment on great stuff that's old, why shouldn't they?

Last time I saw someone bumped an art thread and some one came on it to warn, and then a mod... it was basically because it "technically" pushes down the most recent submitted art... I think if memory serves me correctly.

It's somewhat considered against the rules, but it's not a strict one. Like how people in Normal, Illinois are not allowed to make silly faces to dogs, but it's not a strict rule that people need to follow. If it's just to make an innocent complement to the piece of work, I don't see what's the issue as well...

But of course, any artwork that's created by this creator is marvelous, and should be asked why he's not working for the MK team's art department. Since we're all in a recession, doing stuff like this will help you not be poor.

I never saw the problem with bumping old threads as long as the post is relevant to the topic. Its like that on just about every forum I go to. And the funny thing is, If you make a topic thats done often, they blast you for that to. I mean what can you do?

any way. The pic of Reptile is awesome. I perfer a more reptilian looking reptile but if he has to look human, than this look is preferable. I love the enigma bejhind the character. He looks human, but you just know there's something more to him.
