I think they needed to get rid of all that stuff, it was a waste of space.

Besides, people complain when you bring an old pic back to the top.

That's not what I mean, why should I use a private message. The subject line is for peoples in charge not people. It's a general post to anyone who can answer the question. I put Acj's addr. at the top since he is the fan art director, I just suspect he's not a system admin.

Yeah I suppose you're right, I just used to enjoy when someone posted a new picture to check their old stuff if they have any.

Well I'm not Acj, but I'll take a stab at why it might be this way.
I believe it was to prevent the old system's format from possibly messing up the new system, and for the fact that it's preferred to leave older topics alone.
Don't take that as gospel though as there could be another reason, just that's what I assume from reading/posting on the Admin forum.

Though I don't agree with having the older comments erased...didn't know that was the case.

I am indeed the fan art manager, but Joe (CCShadow) is the one in charge of the database management. If it really means something to you, you can take it up with him.
