This is quite decent Ultimate Ryu. I think you are improving as of late. I like it how you used the opacity tool to show the stages of Jax doing his punch. I'm enjoying the Kano sprite I think it compliments this piece perfectly. One thing bad is that the purple ground waves from Jax's punch look a bit half assed. It would be cool to see purple rings go all the way up Jax's arm. Overall decent effort...decent piece 3.5/5

Uh, its ok, but not that "graphic" It's prolly not suppose to be, but thats only my opinion.

Lighting is good. Other than that there is nothing really special...

i like it... tho there are a couple things i dont really like
first, the purple swirl and the earth cracks look a bit awkward... kinda grainy... especially the cracks, they look stretched and "perspectived"...
also, the light commin out of the ground looks weird coming from 1 spot... it'd look better either if they came directly up from the whole area of the crack, or if they come out from a couple selected spots, but that one spot looks weird cause the ground is not especially cracked or anything else like that... i dont kno if its clear what i mean... prob. not...
also, this is kinda personal, but w earth moves in general, it looks weird that Jax hits one spot and only the ground under kano is affected... it'd look cool if there was like a trail from the spot of impact to kano... or if the whole floor was affected.
Finally, Kano looks like he's goin "I DIDNT DO IT! IT WAS HIM!" he doesnt look like he's actually affected by the impact, and he's not burning or bleedin or anything... so it looks like he's only surprised by the lightshow!

The sprite you chose for Kano does not fit, neither does the light or the strange cracks below Kano's feet. The Matrix effect for Jax is not needed and makes this look very mediocre.

It's a decent submission, and I like the idea of it, but as others have pointed out, it's a little too effects-heavy. Maybe if they were trimmed down and simplified a bit more, it would appeal to me more. All the same, I give it 4/5.
