Raidens Spiral Charge fatality

Let me explain what's going on...

Raiden charges up a large amount of electricity, then in one giant outburst, it sends him spinning right through his opponents chest. Enjoy.



Also, notice the little details such as the nearly 100% correct lifebars, the shadows (How the electricity and the blood are somewhat transparent in it), and the dimmed background.

Update:

Just changed a few things, and I think it looks a little better. See if you can find what I changed. wink

It's nice work but I think Shao Kahn's reaction, or state, if you will; should be changed to more of a shocked reaction.

Nice idea for a fatality Torchia, good effects and good addition of detail, as you said, the lidebars and text and all that.

I don't think I can really give any pointers on this one, nice job

I love the effects on the sprites and the way Kahn seems tobe blurred. Very good Fake.

It looks great! Really great actually! but wouldnt a spiral charge be a little too similar to Ryu Hayabusa's spiral charge? whatever. 5/5

like someone else said before. It's Great. But Kahn's reaction really should be more surprised than like "what's this?" He should be a little more leaning back. 5/5 P.S. At the end of Raiden's thunder thing, it's curled now and not straight so I caught something.

my friend pred gave me this one, and the avvy that goes with it, but I love the ones flameshang and darkryder gave me too, so expect a cycle of these three folks

actually I can't blame the "ow my stomach" buckled over look myself, for me its a tossup on lean back surprised or buckled over pain

Thanks for the comments, but Kahn's expression is like this because Raiden just smashed through him. He hasn't exactly had time to be very shocked (no pun intended), he's still kind of in his first stage where pain is his first reaction, and he still hasn't buckled over very far yet because, like I said earlier, Raiden has only just started going through him.

And about the swirly lightening... I tried to give the effect that:

A) It's lightening, so it's not all that whispy.

B) It's swirling around, just as Raiden is.

I found 3 differences:
1)Raiden's electric trail in the second one is less blurred back
2) shao kahn has a little more shadow in front of his feet
3) Shao Kahn is in the 2nd one spitting a bit of blood...

are there any more? This is fun
