I've also attempted to get Zmoke to enter, but he'll probably invent an excuse that revolves around convenient claims of inexperience in such a medium (despite the added assurance that I would provide him with tips when needed). Sub-Zedox has also hinted that he may be willing to get involved in this thing, and I've got at least one more skillful member of the old-school community I feel confident in convincing to enter.

This is gonna be fun.

If only I could contact MKRocket; we'd easily have the most epic kompetition this site has or will have ever seen. This is still gonna be one for the ages, though.

I see two excuses--a preemptive bailout plan, it would appear. I understand that education is important, but that's an eight- to ten-hour (including homework) disruption in a 24-hour day, not to mention that blacksaibot and I excelled in this medium during that time. I have a 9-to-5 and a series of novels in the works. In the same light, I'm quite certain that blacksaibot nor anyone else has ample time to devote to an undertaking such as this. So, your clichéd excuses will only draw groans and sighs of exasperation, as we've managed to break through said obstacles. That is all.

I very rarely visit this site anymore, but when I do I check for new fakes. Old habits are hard to break, even though there hasn't been much to merit my interest for a great while. I even more rarely, i.e. never, communicate with anyone using external means, such as AIM, MSN, or IRC, thus I am quite the ghost anymore. The beauty of growing older and priorities shifting.

It has been a long time Veno, the last time I think we spoke we were supposed to team-up for a special FPK or something. I'd have to look at the file to know exactly when that was but I do remember I was on my eventual decline of ambition and interest with fake pics--and it just didn't work out. It is good to see you unbanned and around, same as ever, which in my opinion, is a good thing for the art community on this site. Perhaps it will sharpen people's edges so to speak.

As for this FPK thing... I'm not saying I will, nor will I say I won't. I can only try and find out what I can produce. If the product doesn't meet quality standards, it won't be seen. It's a pride thing, I'm sure you can understand that Veno.

I'll have one day away from work and people on Monday so if all actual editing can get done on that day, I might get something in. Depending on when the deadline is exactly, and yes, it seems it's next Wednesday, but is there a time to get in by on that date? Before midnight? Timezone? Etc... All crucial questions to my forthcoming attempt to participate.

It's good to see some old faces getting involved, which is sweetened by their creative and artistic abilities. If I happen to not get my entry in, I will stop by and give my insight and critical analysis of the fakes that are entered. Considering I will know everyone's fake based on their style, I can assure that bias will not be a factor.

Next time we need clearly bolded-out START / END dates in pretty red font. Not just "one week from now" and then have something like "KONTEST will be over October 15, 2012 at 5:00 PM" That's confusing for us old folk.
