You missed the submission date.

Since the opening day for voting is Saturday, why not just extend the submission date until then (or Friday) for new entrants and/or the people who have yet to actually submit their entries? There's no reason not to give everyone some leniency since we haven't had a contest like this in quite some time. Just a suggestion, chief.

Even if they didn't, they missed the deadline and those who actually made the cut-off time should have theirs posted.

This is the last contest Sekktor is allowed to host... geez. Not trying to be an ass or anything, but my step-son has a Bday party at the house so I'm stuck at home with nothing better to do than critique fakes and serve kids food. YA DIG?!

I say give the dude a break, because we all took advantage of the extra time we were given. If not, then that's on you. I can say that I am looking forward to seeing the entries, maybe becoming a little impatient because I did finally get mine submitted. Oh well; patience is a virtue, or something. Let's hope this thing hasn't lost any of its momentum with all the delays.

One of the reasons that this area of the site became "stale", as you so accurately put it, is because there hadn't been anyone here to drive artists to improve. Another reason is that the fake picture industry took a huge hit, and I don't mean to come off as conceited, when I went on hiatus for five or so years.

This contest was initially my idea, created in hopes of revitalizing a stagnant industry. Despite that it's been a painstaking (and long-winded) process, I feel as though it's already made a huge step toward resurrecting the fake picture industry. As long as artists, both old and new, in this medium choose to motivate one another with honest and constructive criticism, things can only continue in a positive direction.

I'm gonna work on a fake while I wait for this damn kontest to begin.
