Don't call it a crap sketch when you know it's not crap just becase either A) You don't want your feelings hurt or B) You just want more "heart-warming" compliments so you can feel even better.

BalkSc- Heh, well, if you've been around like me and seen a plethra of gifted artists who's works prower over yours- You start to feel...unsufficient towards your own efforts :/

only thing is, it looks like reptiles got hair on his arms n legs but i guess pencils has that kinda effect

Nah, its not so much the pencils.
I was trying to exhibit a slightly scaled texture to the skin. I agree with ya- it just doesn't look..er 'patched' enough to me.
Should have crosshatched it more I guess :/

You've quite the ability with the pencils, as well as for anatomy. In regards to your choice-posing, well, no comment. But you handled it well, as strange as it is in concept. And he looks more like Little Foot than he would an iguana... hee hee... but ignoring those nit-picks you still did a nice piece.
So in accordance with the Subject... It's a Crap Reptile but it's a mighty fine sketch. :)

Yup, the pose is odd, but I have a bad habit of not structuring form dynamic enough, and I wanted to practice laying out a 'skeleton' before I went into details (which I really need to do more often).

NS- Well, T'would be difficult to color, since its a full-blown ebony sketch. Could do it with a 'colorize' feature- it'd be unweildy to render though.

Finally u decided to post somme of your artwork.I was waiting for u to post something to c what you're made of and I like what I C.The feet look kinda weird and I don't get what Reptile is trying to do,but other than that I think its a great pic.Good use of shading,and I like the way u made his costume look.Don't know why u call it crap....could that mean...that...u could do better???!!!....hhhmmm
