Scorpion Drawing Feedback

Hey everyone i just wanted to show you this drawing im doing on photoshop of scorpion. its a work in progress and some of you might recognize this picture. What im doing is taking one of my old drawings and drawing on top of it instead of just coloring it in like i usually do with my fan arts.

The photoshopped area is the head. i'm trying to make it look realistic and three dimensional using blending techniques from scratch.

the untouched part of the drawing is the shoulders and neck so you guys can see by comparison.

Still a long way to go, but it's coming out nicely. Just focus on the shading and you'll be fine. Keep up the good work!

An interesting take on the character. Looks like a more modern, almost gangster-style Scorpion, rather than the ninja-style one we're used to.

The design looks a little busy with almost too much detail, but it's looking good otherwise.

^ I definitely wouldn't say it looks "Gangster" at all, it looks like a combination of ninja and samuri. But I've seen the design before so I don't really feel the need to say anything about it other than that I really like it.

The digital paint looks fantastic, as if you took the original and turned it HD. I'd like to see the neck and eventually the full body done so I can compare them properly. There's definitely a lot you'd be able to do with the little details.
