dude I've also seen your Sub-Zero re-design, and while in a basic artistic sense they ARE good...
they look nothing like NINJAS.
theres so much of a "soul calibur 4" vibe going on, I'm guessing thats where you made them first.
ninjas should look like ninjas.
re-designing is different from reinventing, Sub-Zero looks like a samurai with typical anime hair and Scorpion looks like he belongs in the crusades.
nevertheless, very good principle artwork.

Thanks for the feedback!!! Anime and Soul Calibur has nothing to do with this though, don't play the game nor do I find any interest in Anime. Though I did try my very best to NOT head anywhere near the ninja look. That's my whole point with this series that I'm starting soon. Try to lean more into an original direction with the appearance for these characters rather than copy the outfits they've warn during the time.

But I will say, Rikimaru from Tenchu helped me with his hair for Sub-Zero. Thanks for the feedback, though. I'm glad you like this a lot! Be prepared for more coming this week!

Characters can be defined by functionality. Motiffs can be interchanged with care (especially when it comes to trademark motiffs).

Looks like Scorpion beat up Subby and jacked his Deception costume. lol
