Bezou: Yeah, my goal was to lose the super brightly colored, gamey feel of the characters and give them a grittier, more realistic feel. I think Sub got TOO muted. Oh well.

I wasn't even going to post this art just because it's like...three years old and I'm better now than I was then. But then I figured, what the hell, it might be cool to utilize MKO's fan art gallery as an archive of my better MK works. For me, the best thing about creating fan art is sharing it with the fans.

That's very cool. I like the more realistic look to the franchise with the more realistic shades in color, as well as the very simplified look to the characters' designs. I also like the background, looks like the Wasteland from MK II. Great stuff 5/5

lol, i always thought that this was smoke, and scorpion was pissed off becuase smoke had stolen all his trademark moves in mk3 (spear, teleport punch, etc). But yes, I have always admired this work as a REAL artwork, not only as an MK fanart. Thank you for reposting this dude, it would take too much space explaining how much I admire this work, so I'll just leave you with a my personal thumbs up

For some reason I think that I've seen that before, but it is still really cool nonetheless. I think that you have made a few drawings with Scorpion and Sub-Zero in these styles. They're all really cool.

Very nice, though both of 'em are my favorite characters! I'd hate to watch Sub-Zero die though, because he was my first fav. [*le sigh*] Ah well! A lot of detail in this one!
