Very cool! I just don't think black boots really fit with the rest of the color scheme in his outfit. I remember them being more silver "ish" in Deadly Alliance.

Thank you!! The black on the boots is just the shadowing on them. Since I added fire into the mix, the contrast and shading is higher. Where the fire hits the boots is showing the real color of it. Thanks for your feedback!!

I dont know EK, you know I'm a fan of the work you do, just the 'updraft' that seems to be in there, it doesn't work for me.

Shang's style is that he's always in control...so if you would remove the updraft from the clothing and his hair and straighten it out, it would fit the character better I think. 2/5 for me this time.

Is it because of the hair? The reason I made it look like their was a wind is because it was supposed to represent shang's power bursting giving alot of energy from his anger. Kind of how Vegeta goes super saiyan. Thanks for your feedback!!

Mhm, mainly the hair, and mhm I see the Super Saiyan resemblance, I just don't think it suits Shang particularly.. . .what I forgot to mention was I do enjoy the coloring on this piece.
