It makes no sense.

(-) Sprites are small, background is big
(-) When Reptile shot the forceball it stayed completely still
(-) Couldn't tell what was going on.
(-) Why did Reptile say "Buy a Scorpion Doll"?
(-) No sound.

Either you should stop, or find a better program because this stuff your making isn't that good. You can get a 30 day free trial of Macromedia Flash 8 here

Its a LOT easier to use and it will make your movies look much, much better. And next time upload your movies to Imageshack.

All of that stuff accept no sound was the place i uploaded it to's fault so ill upload this toon to image shack now
Well, your sprite placement seems to be better than the others you've made.

But... that's about the only improvement.
Firstly adjust the size.
I've no idea what progrm you're using to make these but WHATEVER it is WILL let you change the size.

MK1 and MK2 are 400x254 and MK3/UMK3 are 395x254.

Unless you can make like a really cool background yourself just copy and paste one from the warehouse - it'l already be in the sizes above.

If you use Macromedia/Adobe Flash you can tell it to "publish", or create, a page with the file embedded in it. If you can find some free webhosting you can upload the file to there and not have to worry about sites like putfile or imageshack etc.

Ech, I think you missed my point.

Making it bigger on the page, makes it worse!
I'm not talking about the size on the page, I'm talking about the dimensions.
You have HEAPS of unused space. You've got your fighters at the bottom then loads and loads of black empty space then some detail at the top.

Not only is this graphically painful to look at (having to concentrate on the bottom of my screen defeats the object of having it full screen) but it also increases your filesize, which if you're exporting for the web you should be trying to keep down.

Go to the pavillion and look at almost any of the animations there. Most of them will be at a much smaller size, embedded on the page - NOT full screen.
If anything I preferred looking at it on putfile embedded on a page.

I honestly did watch it at the zoomed in size, and in my opinion the only difference was that it looked blurrier.

Actually it was much better, you could see everything without having to squint your eyes. And it wasnt that blury at all.

Okay, just remeber, never, ever, EVER upload movies to photobucket, it makes the whole animation look blurry and too big if you upload it to photobucket, imageshack us much better. Also when you upload to imageshack, go into the adress bar, and where is says "=(some number)" change the number to 400 to fit it to a MK arena. And like Tim said, use arenas from the MK warehouse.

ok.
So i was thinkin' about makin' this into a series.Do you think that the first one was good enough to make another one?(besides it being blurry an' all...)Its up to all of you.grin Oh and uhh i already uploaded it to photobucket.Ill get to fixing that soon enough.

Don't make more.
If you wanna make more, which you should if you wanna get better (ignore the remarks but take note of the suggestions and criticism), and make this into a series perhaps don't start the series until you've made a good "test run".

Take some inspiration from, possibly the greatest MK fight series, SF vs MK 1 2 and 3 by Proxicide. They're on newgrounds/kombat pavillion.

The thing I was saying about the bluriness is this:

The sprites are designed to be the size they are on the warehouse.
If you make them larger, you need to scale the background up in the same proportion so that everything still looks natural.
Even playing MK2 on the genesis/mega drive on a 32" tv, while it may look slightly more pixelated purely for size, it will all still be in proportion.

What you've got is a humongous background/stage that because it's so big, the sprites are appearing quite small anyway, so you've lost detail. THEN you're playing it on a bigger screen stretching that lack of detail out thus creating a "blurry" type effect.

Anyway, I think you should make more. But like some people have said, take a closer look at the finished product yourself before sticking it on here and think what people might say, pick the flaws out yourself.

Whenever I post an animation I half expect people to rip it apart for about a million flaws I've seen with it, but because they're so small nobody but me could pick them up. Point is, because I'm so critical I can try to avoid them.

Or something like that...... my head hurts sad.
Hope that helps anyhoo tongue.

come on you guys seriously can't sit here and say he hasn't gotten better. the animation is not choppy, the sprites are faster, and the fight was a little interesting. I think you just need to take the next step. download macromedia flash pro 8.
