Hm. You'd think that, since you were going to add that cute little story to your "fake", you'd make sure it looked 100% like the actual game. But no, you added effects to Kano's knife, and you made the names in the lifebars look different.

2/10

It was probably a hacked MK1 arcade machine, they do exist. And why are you giving out scores for an actual game screenshot? Seriously...

I guess Zentile is in on this too huh? You're really pissin me off. I'm not RETARDED! If that was a real picture, it would look like shit, and we would see some of the arcade machine, Smoke wasn't thought of back then, there are no effects like that in MK1. I added the wrong quote.

You guys are fucking retarded. He just included a funny little backstory for the fake, in the ways that many rumours were started back in the day. Yet you have to go all CAPS LOCK ON HIS ASS.

Calm down, god dammit, fuck, shit.

Shut up superawesomeness.. You should get photoshop and go to MKW for your lazy ass. Get sarcasm?

God UR, really? That looks like a bad photoshop work with a pallete swapped Scorpion/Sub-Zero as Smoke, a very bad lifebar, and the smoke effect makes it a photoshop work. Ha, photo, ha, Tony Casey... So unoriginal..

Then tell us what do you want?

If you want Smoke, use Photoshop to pallete swap it. Simple as that.

Dude, why do you insist on lying about it? First of all Smoke wasn't thought of until the making of MKII. Secondly, the dagger from Kano is upside down to the way it would have spun. Good job in making a fake, bad job in lying about it. You lost integrity.

I did. I got a UMK3 FAQ.

Here UltimateRyu's plan: Desperately try to get us to believe that his fake is authentic, then when we get all excited, he'll tell us it's actually a fake (which we already knew).

Flaws in the plan: His "pic" is of too good quality, Smoke's smoke is too good quality for MK1, the names don't fit the lifebars, and (here's the major flaw) if you find a secret this big, you post it in the "Overall Mortal Kombat Discussion" or "Mortal Kombat Games: 1992-2000" and NOT "MK Fan Submission Discussion".

Some things he got right: The Kano sprite, but not the knife, and the Background. But then, how can you go wrong with pasting things?

Actually it is hilariously funny, but it's not UR who is funny, it's you people going berserk over this. Actually analyzing point for point why this CANT be a screenshot (when it obviously is, by the way). Grow up.

COUNTER POINTS:

#1 - You dont think there's cameras capable of capturing something with this great a quality? Well there are. They're very expensive but I know a couple of guys in real life who have those, so I'm sure UR just managed to buy one himself. You dont see bits of the arcade because obviously UR edited it (probably on Paint) to remove all the stuff around it except the game shot itself.

#2 - Like he said, it's a HACKED version of MK1. There were tons of those back in the day, as well as Street Fighter II ones. Hackers make mistakes- they made the names too big.

And duh, UR is posting stuff on the fan submission discussion ALL THE TIME. So out of habit, he accidentally posted this thread in the fan submission section instead of the classic games section. An honest mistake, people post stuff in the wrong sections all the time.

#3 - Dont blame UR for you not knowing how to use google.

FACE THE FACTS PEOPLE, UltimateRyu found a new secret you guys didn't know about. No need to get all jealous... jesus christ, grow up!

First of all guy, don't be so damn gullable. Secondly, a 5 megapixle camera would still be grainy. That picture is fake and the fact you're being dumb enough not to realize this is sad. Ultimate Ryu knows how to do fakes, look at his other work, hell he even does animated fakes that look good. So, maybe it's you who needs to grow up.
