1. You should give credit to the mk warehouse for the bg, which is btw, the big part of the fake.
2. No lifebars, and it doesn't seem like Smoke's performing a fatality.
3. You didn't bother to take care of Sub-Zero's transparency.
4. The fake idea is too simple. Smoke blasting a one colored smoke cloud at Sub-Zero. Doesn't take much creativity.

I sorta like the stage, but whatever the hell Smoke is doing is retarded looking.

Well, I don't see whats so great about this. It would have been great if you did the background, so like Zentile said, give credit to the warehouse next time.

As for the rest of the fake, there isn't anything amazing about it. No lifebars, no timer, no shadows. The 'smoke' effect would have been nicer if you used more than just that one color. Or you could have added some smoke around Smoke himself. And I really don't understand what Sub-Zero is doing, it looks really weird to me.
