c'mon he's new to this he doesen't know the standards or anything. well blue dagger practice more and you'll be great here's some tips though:
-MKO has really high standards so if you can't meet them you can't beat them.
some of us make our fakes visually apealing by customizing it, ie backrounds, spite edits, gore and blood. all you gotta do is make some interesting arena, put cool action sprites, get all the props right like shadows and lifebar positioning and the idiots'll be flyin atcha.
-put shadows beneath your fakes too.
-adding lifebars, timers and victory text never hurts.
-add effects to your fakes like blood on the floor, sweat, wind, debris, guts and backround props to make it more eye-healthy.

just keep practicing and learning from guys' mistakes. read lots of tutorials, look at other fakes, and so on.

Thanks for you're tips! I'll try making my own background and editing the sprites. But I'm pretty good at drawing, too, so maybe I'll submit some of my artwork.

I can't really see the first two... though the third one needs a lot of improvement. It's pretty much copy and paste... I agree with satinsoven as well.
