Is "kori" really Japanese for ice? If so, that seems a little strange, since the Lin Kuei are supposed to be Chinese, no Japanese.

Still, this series looks promising. Keep it up.

According to NovaStarr (who dabbles a little bit with the Japanese language)

kori= stiffness
Koori = frozen

So it's not really an exact translation from the actual Japanese language, it's just what the MKDA/MKD universe uses to "sound" Japanese. Hope that clears that up somewhat!
