I've begun the writing process.

Chapter 1:

Netherrealm. The very bowels of Hell, sitting amongst a throne is the fallen elder god Shinnok. Shinnok is holding a staff that adorns a familiar amulet, however, it's not one in the same. It's purpose is perhaps that to intimidate those who do not know that the real thing was stolen. Shinnok is no fool, however - He made sure that his amulet wasn't completely powerless and just some paperweight. No, he made sure that the amulet had some power. With his new amulet Shinnok was beginning to become curious of his trinket's ability, he wanted to test it to it's fullest.

Shinnok cast forth his staff and forced the amulet to glow, piercing green light ripping through the stagnant orange fog of the Nether realm. The green light immediately caught the attention of the most famed Netherrealm denizens. Shinnok held strong as the amulet began to create a portal before him, ripping a hole in very fabric of the Netherrealm. The pillars that had pierced so many dead and held them there began to crumble at the might of this make shift amulet. However, the portal was not to Earthrealm, it was to a completely different dimension. Shinnok was weakened by the usage of the amulet and needed to find his way back to his throne.

Shinnok needed to gather several unfortunate souls to make their way into this dimension. Shinnok knew not the risks of this uncharted dimension, so he needed to run some tests...and he needed the proper associates.

That's chapter 1.

I think after that part we should have something like...

"Shinnok summons the sorcerer(SP?) Shang Tsung to his throne."

Shinnok: Shang Tsung, do you know why I have called upon you at this moment???

Shang: No.

Shinnok: Yes well. I have a special task for you, a task that only you can complete.

Shang: And what is this task you speak of???

Shinnok: You see...I have opened this portal...to what I believe may be a new realm to take over.

Shinnok: This is where you come in.

Shinnok: I need you to take the form of the thunder god, Raiden.

Shang: Of course, but for what???

Shinnok: I'm not finished yet you moron.

Shinnok: Take his form, then call the "Defenders of Earth Realm" to a meeting.

Shinnok: Inform them of the portal but give them this. *hands Shang a scroll"

*SCROLL*

I believe that the portal that has opened it not going to help us very much. I sense bad chi (lol, for somereason I think chi sounds funny) coming from it. I wan't you to go through, and attempt to close it

*back to them*

Shinnok: Can you fufill this task Shang Tsung???

Shang: Certainly...but may I ask...

Shang: What is in it for me???

*screen turns dark and Shinnok does an evil laugh*

Well that was what I thought up of, following after the events of your chapter Ninja_Arts.

I might be up for the ocassional edit or background if need be, I just can't be taxed with too much as my personal projects generally take priority.

Also, a suggestion for your clickable buttons in flash.

Either make them a true button, with the text contained inside or use a cut out of the background for the button, then put the word(s) over top of it.

This especially helps with thinner fonts that become a bitch to click as you have to be right on top of a letter.

That's pretty good.

However, remember that in animated terms that would take about 30 seconds at most?

I also think that another character could be present at this point.

I had some ideas of starting a story as well, see what you think to this:

SHINNOK
One century...

An entire century! 100 years...

NOOB
The amulet is of the same magic and origin
that Quan Chi used to escape this place.

SHINNOK
Is it really?
How does it work?

NOOB
The amulet has to react with markings enscribed
in stone on the fifth plane.

SHINNOK
You're certain?

NOOB
I observed Quan Chi doing this himself.
He escaped this realm, then traversed Outworld
to form an alliance with Shang Tsung.

SHINNOK
And then they finished off the emperor...
Yes. It has to work.


Meanwhile........

Now, you'll have to forgive me here as I know absolutely nothing of the street fighter combatants or their stories, but I figured having about four of them all discussing the upcoming tournament.
Guile, Sakura perhaps? I don't know but pick four with at least one female and NO RYU YET!

At the Street Fighter tournament.

After a couple of the fighters gloating about their skills and how they're going to win they notice some strange disturbances in the skies.

Back to Netherrealm

Fifth plane.......

Shinnok is activating the amulet.

NOOB
The energies are building.

SHINNOK
YES! I can feel the world changing around me!

ZAP!

Back in the SF world, the skies are flashing.
After brief debate about what could be causing this, the four warriors are sucked at high speed into a large round flash in the sky.

Back in Netherrealm.

Shinnok is gone, and nothing is left before Noob, but a portal?

NOOB
My lord?

After checking behind him, Noob plucks up the courage to travel
through the portal. But he returns to the wastelands of Outworld to
find that Shinnok has disappeared.

NOOB
Lord Shinnok!?

He turns round quickly as four warriors are thrust into the ground.
The last two hit harder into the dust than the first two.
Sakura stands up. Looking around.

SAKURA
Where the hell are we?

NOOB
Who are you?

SAKURA
Oh, hi. My name's Sakura. Who might you be?

NOOB
Why are you here?

SAKURA
Urm. Well, we don't know, we were preparing for
a tournament and then we were... well, here.

NOOB
You're not of this realm are you?

GUILE
No, we are not.

Noob thrusts his Shurikens as quickly as possible, but they are caught by Guile.

NOOB
I'll remember you!

Noob disappears into a cloud of black smoke.

The four remaining characters all begin to argue about what brought them here, where infact here is. Who the man just before them was and what to do now.
All the bickering leads each warrior to go off on their own.

Guile (or whoever you want as first fodder), in a cocky manner walks to the left of the screen and finds a huge stone door with a dragon symbol on it.

He enters (by either walking through it or using special moves, pick your fave), and as the torches all begin to flicker on (in an homage to MK vs SF 3 pattern) the chamber is revealed to be the deadpool.

An unknown, dark and incredibly echoey voice beckons him for a password.

UNKOWN
Password!?

GUILE
Huh?

UNKNOWN
I said, what is the password?

GUILE
I... uh...

A warrior runs past him at blinding speed, Guile blocks his attack.

GUILE
Who are you?






I have carried on with this and given it a lot of thought to where it would go as well, so lemme know if anybody thinks this is usable cuz I got much more, lol.

If anybody would like me to animate this as your first chapter I don't mind that either but obviously lemme know some thoughts.

I have no knowledge of the SF characters or their stories so if somebody could fill in the blanks above if you like it, that'd be great too.

I figured I'd have Sakura as I believe she is fond of Ryu? Which would come in handy later in the story.
I don't know if Guile is cocky or not, but the character above needs to serve pretty much as entertaining fodder (as he would be the first to die).

Anyhow, thoughts?

Here, *throws it back to the other fighter* it might be valueable, put it in your pocket. _ Fighter: Yeah, sure. __________________________________________________________ MEANWHILE: *Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sonya, Jax, and Sub-Zero are all in a meeting* _ Raiden: I have been informed by the elder gods that a portal the leads to another realm has opened. _ Raiden: 4 Warriors have jumped through the portal and into our realm. _ Liu Kang: Who are they??? _ Raiden: They have yet to be identified. _ Raiden: I need you to make sure this realm is still the same way it has been. _ Raiden: Liu Kang, Kung Lao, I want you to go through the portal, and close it, by any means neccasary. _ Kung Lao: Of course master Raiden. *Liu and Kung bow to Raiden* _ Raiden: Sub-Zero, I think you can handle yourself quiet well. You will be going solo. _ Raiden: I want you to find those warriors. Search everywhere. _ Sub-Zero: Okay. _ Raiden: And as of you two. I need you 2 to keep this place safe, there is no telling what will come out of that portal. _ Jax: Yes sir. _ Raiden: This is left up to us now, no one else can handle this task. I will help you all on your missions, but Liu Kang...Kung Lao, I can not help you. _ Raiden: The elder gods won't allow me to leave this realm. _ Raiden: My powers won't work outside of here. _ Raiden: Okay now, am I understood??? Although I think you might be getting carried away adding fighters that aren't necessary.

The warrior who appears before Guile (or whoever) is Kabal.

(A small part of) my idea is that the black dragon have began to use Kahn's caverns (including places like the deadpool and the armory) as their new hideout since Shang and Quan offed him.
The black dragon plays a slight story in what I had in mind, essentially what I have figured is that Shinnok kinda screws everybody over.

I think we should set up a board elsewhere to discuss this stuff, because if this all does actually come off then everybody's going to know what happens long before they've seen it.

The story I've imagined happens over a 3 part series so I'd hardly like to spoil the details whether it gets used or not.
I can go on if you wish .

Okay well maybe Jax and Sonya aren't neccasary, but I think Sub-Zero is good for staying in the place they are at and look for the fighters. And Liu Kang and Kung Lao will be in the street fighter universe.

I don't know a lot about Street Fighter either though, I've never played it.

I don't believe Liu Kang and Kung Lao are either.
But then again, this is because I've just finished writing my idea out for the entire three episodes, lol. I got a little carried away.

I say get a free forum like proboards, or something like that, and just add those working on the project and then I'll post my whole idea for everybody to disect or discard or whatever.

It works heavily on what Ninja Arts set up with Shinnok but kind of doesn't reveal his true plot until the last episode.
Anyway, let's get on a private board for the moment.

I agree with using other characters, and why just use Noob? I would suggest following up on mine like this:

Shinnok casts a gaze to the portal once more, before lifting his arm and the ground begins to turn black, a round black circle forms and 8 black ninja leap from the circle, lead by the definitive Noob Saibot. Also there, are two white ninja, Shinnok looks to Noob and begins dialogue.

Shinnok: I trust you've followed up on Quan Chi as I asked, Noob.
Noob: I have indeed, he is being stalked by the spectre, so he has yet to use the amulet.
Shinnok: Good, good...As long as the sorceror is not using the amulet then this...this replacement will have to do just fine, as it draws from the energy on the older amulet.
Noob: The spell will not hold forever, My lord..
Shinnok: I understand this, and I've already taken it into consideration and torn a portal in between dimensions.
Noob: That is why I have been summoned?
Shinnok: Do not question me, Saibot. The portal before you and the brotherhood, I want to set before you...a mission.
Noob: What does this mission entail?
Shinnok: Scout this new dimension with the brotherhood, lead them and conquer this uncharted region...Claim it in my glory.
Noob: There is no question...
Shinnok: Good, as there shouldn't be. Now go, waste no time. It is of the essence.
Noob: Brotherhood...
Brotherhood all at once: For Shinnok!
Noob and the brotherhood race through the portal, marching right onto a street in the Street fighter realm.

Here's my opening thingy. I'll just make up stuff as I go on.

Screen shows Shinnok sitting where Kahn should be sitting in that one level of MK3...stands up and then the ball of blacksmoke twirls around in a tornado. After some spinning and more cool effects, Noob is seen after the smoke dissapears. As well as a few other Brotherhood people. (We got make some alternate costume for the other guys so they don't look exactly like Noob)

Shinnok:Is the task complete?
Noob:Yes Master. (Just following on what Ninja Arts is doing) The Ninja Spectre is following Quan Chi.

Shinnok:Good, good. And where do you believe Kahn is? I wouldn't want him ruining our plan, so he can gain power over this land again.

Noob:I have 2 of my fellow Brotherhood of Shadow members keeping a close eye on Shao Kahn. I don't believe he is up to anything.

CUTS TO SHAO KAHN WANDERING THE NETHEREALM

Shao Kahn (Talking to himself):I was such a fool! Shinnok will pay for taking over my throne!

2 BOS members can be seen sneaking around Kahn.

Shao Kahn:It doesn't matter...I still have Reptile, and Sindel will always be by my side. I will rebuild my empire once again.

CUTS BACK TO SHINNOK

Both members of the Brotherhood appear from black smoke.

Guy#1:My lord! Shao Kahn is planning to de-throne you!

Shinnok:HE WHAT!!!???

Screen goes black and "The MK Kollaboration" pops up on screen.

END OF OPENING SEQUENCE

Now I don't have that much skill in writing serious stories, so don't be surprised if you think it sucks.

Okay, I made the forum. I'm gonna send everyone the link to it that is working on this.

Oh... I thought the animation was about Kintaro's kitty getting stuck in a tree, and all the other kombatants failed at getting it down.... :(

Yeah, well now its sorta like a more serious animation.
