I read the thing about comics and i still can't figure out hot to make the sprites transparant onto the background. Can someone help me plz?
That depends on how you're making your comics/fakes. I use Flash MX to make mine (and Photoshop for last minute touches) and all you have to do in Flash is import the sprite directly into your library. If you've edited the sprite, you'll need something like GIF construction set. You can select the background to be transparent that way.
One problem I've had with a lot of sprites is that the background is white or black. That's a HORRIBLE background for a transparent GIF and I invariably end up having to fix that if I want to do any decent sprite editing on them.
If you use Paint or something, I don't know how to help you because I don't use Microsoft products.

Ya, I use paint.
Can you do a magic wand type mask in paint? If you import the sprite, mask the background, invert the mask (with insert), copy and paste it into your background it should work.
I know there's a tutorial on Kombat's site that I think is Paint based.
Personally, I'd look in the Free Art Programs thread for something better. Paint is a worthless piece of crap.

I know what to do if your using MS paint. Get 2 paint screens up with the sprite in one and the background in the other.Next highlight the sprite and paste it into the BG.Next click on the second option for the select tool and your done. :)
might not make any sense but i'm not great at wording things.
