I think the fire effect is a bit too exaggerated, but you did a hell of a job making it. You should make the fire coming from the bottom of his legs (Lui Kang's). Try to be a little more meticulous when it comes to effects. So people could get the basic idea what exactly is occurring. To elaborate, the contrast looks high. Nice touch, nonetheless.

The lifebars are not exactly right, but I know no one's perfect. Although, next time, add some WINS on top of the lifebars so people could know who's winning and whatnot.

If this is your first fake, then great job. You're definitely heading to a good pace. I hope that you can challenge yourself one day, by doing animations. Its awe-effects like those that will blow people's mind out of proportion.

Coolness! The fire effect is really well done, ive never seen it like that before. Even though the backgrounds a little plain, i like the idea of the floating corpses; the green skin contrasts well with the red skies.
Good job, cant wait to see more from you.
