Shao Kahn with the Super Scope, just thought it was funny. "I'll be in my chambers.", "DO NOT DISTURB!", probably gonna play "Metal Combat" *APPLAUSE*, I'm pretty sure that's a Super Scope game.

X-Wing, Rellim Ocheanep:
The Galaga like minigame in MK3, Rellim Ocheanep is a space realm I guess, Shao Kahn would probably want to conquer it as well. Excuse to use X-Wing sprite.

Baraka, and Reptile's death/Reptile's resurrection:
Neither were in MK3, hence late for the invasion. Reptile was in Ultimate3, with a new look(updated ninja suits, I hate them). Baraka can wait, he finally appeared in Trilogy, somewhat poor humor, but it's a reasonable explanation, I'd say.

Ermac talking to him/themselves: Ermac tends to have a multiple personality disorder these days, my favorite line- "Tell Reptile, I said Hi."
