Very well done, can't wait to see the finished product. Love the layering here. I think the palace roof textures need to be a little bit sharper though. The MK emblem looks great but is high contrast to the rest of the stage. Can I use this in a fake when it is done?

I'm not going to add or remove too much detail at this point. I need to see it in-game before I make too many adjustments in vein.

I don't like MUGEN stages that look better than the characters. It's very off-putting. Although I don't go freakishly into detail (like making sure the color counts match) I at least try to make my stages look like they were created in the 90s. That said, the gong thing is too detailed compared to the rest, as is the rock.... so yeah. It looks bad and out of place.
