A movie set in the MK universe...

I think it would be cool to have a movie based on the Mortal Kombat universe but not the characters. You know it could have been based on a young man struggling to survive in the Cobalt Mines until he tries to rebel against the Emperor. He would fight against Tarkatans, Raptors, Masked Guards etc etc
