a second MKC season replacing the third film

Well, since everyone is waiting for a third film, and it looks like the production of the film is cursed by the elder gods, what do you think about creating a second Mortal Kombat Conquest season instead of a film? it would be great! look, the MK films were crappy (MK 1 was good, but you have to admit that Goro vs Cage was a shitty fight, for a grand champion of Mortal Kombat, Goro should be much stronger.. and LIU KANG should have defeated Goro), and the tv series MKC were just amazing, all that asian, mystical look is just awesome. and since MKC was not ended, a second season would be perfect to end it properly (with the canonical story, of Kung Lao being killed in battle against Goro). and this time Goro could be much better. Sheeva's GCI image was not that bad, and with goro it could work good enough.

they're making a third movie just to taste the ground for a possible return in fashion of MK Franchise,like the second half of 90's.
If the third movie will be a huge success,i'm sure that Conquest will have a second season.
If not,we have to pray...
but a second season instead of a movie...is sitll a good idea but i really doubt it.
A TV series have less financial than a movie(with a tv series the producer will have money "only" from the channel that submit the program and a DVd release),instead with a movie the producer can have movie from International preview first look of the movie,Cinema,public,DVD release,special edition DVD,and TV programming,even tough have to go at least three or four years.

to be honest i never really found an interest in the series i preferred the cartoon even if it was corny. I mean in the series where you see Kitana why does she have a block square head! it really annoys me!!

Mortal Kombat Conquest aired in the portuguese tv (yes i am portuguese), when i was a kid... the first video game i ever played was a pirated version of mk 1... and then i started watching mkc.. i fell in love with the mk mythology.. and i still am! pretty much.. of all that exists about mk, games films, cartons..etc my favourite mk incarnation is conquest, and will always be. that is the explanation for my MK Conquest manic speaches. it is just too perfect, i can't explain, but since we are all mk fans, you'll understand me.. i guess

OK I don't see a second season of MK:C even if the third movie makes it big. Perhap another MK TV series but not a second season. It has just been too long since the original MK: C was made. Many of the actors would just look too different due to age.

absolutely right.
in recent photos,Bruce locke,Adoni marois,and the actor who portraied rayden/shao kahn are not a single minute older than 1998!
Howevr Kung lao,taja and siro are gone,and i don't like the resurrection thing.i still don't like the medieval ambientation.
I prefer nowadays and the current main heroes(Liu kang,Sonya and Johnny cage,and maybe also jax,kitana and kung lao can make a cameo).
a second season would be great.

well, in OFFICIAL information, if the MKC series have continued, in the very next episode, the elder gods would ressurect everyone who died at the shadow priests hands. this episode have been written, it was just not filmed. i don't know why, but i really prefer the ancient ambients and heroes.. and, mk films keep going against mk games canonical story, conquest also did so, at least they could have filmed one single episode in wich was explained how the story go on, until kung lao's death in the next mortal kombat. the abrupt end that the series had, was another disrespect to the original canonical story..

mkc rocks. it would be excellent to see another series. i missed it first time round so have only watched the few i've been able to track down on dvd. yeah, a second series leading up to kung lao's death by goro would be ace. personally, i wasn't a fan of the final battle episode with everyone dying, but as everyone in mk seems to splip in and out of death all thew time guess its relatively no biggie!
