thye reverse animation looked like shit even back in 99 . Plus he fight was badly coreographed. Sonya looked like an idiot, but the talking and the interaction with the break scene was decent enough I guess.

I completely agree. I have nothing against Bridget, but Sonya was supposed to have been chosen, along with Liu and Johnny, because she was one of the best warriors that earth had to offer... yet she couldn't do a simple kick without losing her balance and almost landing on her ass. Aside from the banter between the two, that scene just sucked. Very disappointing.

By the way, that's '95, not '99, Chrome.

It was way to short, Sonya couldn't fight her way out an amusement ride.
I think Wilson was a bad idea in the first place. She may have blond hair, but thats all she has in common with Sonya.

On the bright side, she's still better than Tyra Banks.

Well i didn't think bridgette was a good idea but i rather see stacy kiebler play sonya she is tall and she can kick. And the comment about tyra banks well at least she can act and she is a model, a talk show host and host of americas next top model she is popular eough and i bet she will make it as jade in mk3 movie!

Bridgette Wilson was great at portraying Sonya outside of the fights, as a character, but the combat was pretty weak. Sandra Hess fought brilliantly in Annihilation, but the poor script gave her absolutley zero to work with. it was nice that she was moody about Cage, but still she was quite corny. I hope Sandra Hess returns as Sonya and the script and dialogue is good.

Or if they put Bridgette Wilson through some more rigorous training (she only did some light traininge before MK) then she would be good too. But personally, I prefer Sandra Hess, better fighter and more attractive.

The Kano VS Sonya fight was the fight I was looking forward to the most, even though I was so happy she killed him in a nice, crunchy way, I was still disappointed.

The best fight scene is Mileena Vs. Sonya. My two faves, great fight, lots of mud...
