face it all of you who don't want to admit it, the first two movies compleatly sucked, no exuises! The first one was watchible, but the second was like a bad power-rangers episode. Nither one were good. Direction ...acting ...all of it. Botom-line.
#1. get a new writer
#2. get a new (can't stress this enough) director
#3. get a talented cast
Come on people .....agree with me
don't make exuises
denieing it only makes it worse

The first one was great for a movie based off a video game. What other movie can say the same..Street Fighter? No. Double Dragon? No. Final Fantasy? Could have, but no. They should include its story in the 3rd Movie.

MK:A on the other hand turned out like the other movies based off of video games..crappy. Watchable for a kid, but for someone who is an actual fan of the games series..no. However, its story was okay, except for the Raiden, Shinnok, Shao Kahn family thing. It was the acting and dialogue that needed a ton of work. So some of MK:A could be included in the 3rd MK movie, to keep the series on the same track so long as we ignore the Raiden-Shao Kahn brother thing.

However, I could see how Raiden could be Shinnok's son, don't like it but can see it. However, I prefer the idea that Raiden kicked Shinnoks but thousands a years ago rather than what happened in the movie. But unfortunatly it is already in the movieline story. I say do like they did for Highlander. Include the first movie and same as ignore the second.

I respect that opinion but... still someone should be able to come up with a vidio-game movie that is great not just half way decent. And with a clean slate they may have a chance to do that.

Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean everybody else must hate it too.

I love the first movie, it might have been done a bit better, but it certainly didn't make it a horrible movie.

I respect you're opinion, but you also must respect other people's opinions

The first Movie was great, I enjoyed it & was pleased with it, except it could have been gorier & had Fatalities & stuff.

The Second Movie was OK, fight scenes were great, but for some reason, the actors must have been put off or something while filming as I don't think Robin Shou or Talis Soto were as godd as in the first. Another Huge mistake was changing not 1, but 3 actors in the Movie, Cage & Sonya sucked, while Rayden was OK, but no Christopher Lambert & I ahte it when Movies keep a character but change the actor. Then the whole Ryaden, Shinnok & Shao Khan family thing was a crappy idea too, but now that is in the Movie plot line, should be kept in & gone with. Also, was disappointed Shinnok looked nothing like his MK 4 Counterpart, that costyme in a Movie would have ruled.

MK 1 - 10/10

MK 2: Annihilation - 5/10

listen, my main point is thoughs movies were (in my opinion) bad products of the erly 90's. Now is a different day and age were thes movies thrive. With wonderfull special effects and truely rich coriography. Given a fresh start I beleve the sires will survive much better.

That's your opinion and we are giving you ours...would you want to clean the slate for Star Wars, how about Star Trek? True special effects are better, but the story can still go on as is. To be honest, so many of us are expecting and wanting a sequel rather than a complete rehash that if they tried it may put some viewers off. *shrugs* I rather have a great sequel as to keep the story going along with the game sequence of events. (or at least as close as they can with what they have)

No No No. you misinterprited me. Or I didn't say it quite right. Special effects are great but there not evarything and if I didn't protray that in the last one then I'm sorry. If my only complaint was about the effects then I wouldn't mind a sequal. The movies needed beter scripts and character development. That's what I ment.

I was thinking earlier today (After watching MKA Last night), What if, they have the time (Providing there is no MK 4 in the works, at least not yet anyways) to go back & remake MKA again, but this time with all the original actors, chnage a few bits here & there, but pretty much film everything in the same places & same locations with the exact same fights reproduced & rechoreographed & throw in a few different moves & make the fights a bit longer & I think e might, just might get a better productial version of MKA, Because then, everybody (Or MK fans at least) could just forget the original MKA Movie ever existed & if a better producted MKA Re-make could be made, then MK Fans could buy the VHS or DVD Version of that to put in their collection & take out the crappy version & burn it or bion it or something. smile

Doubt it would happen, but if it did....we can all have one HUGE bonfire party.

I would like them to ignore the fact that MKA was ever made and just redo that.
