Since they now own the rights to the last two movies, can they go ahead and remake both or one of them without getting into trouble with threshold?Hell does threshold even really own the rights to future movies still?I mean they never update their websites EVER for the most part so everyone that I talk to just assumes so but you never know.So I am curious, the rights issues with the movies, can WB make a remake it or not?I know new line never lost the rights to mk and mka and those rights went over to WB.From what I understood along time ago is that threshold has the rights to future mk movies but then again honestly I never seen anything official stating this but I also might just be forgetting it as well.

The way I see it is that their has to be some loop holes for warner bros doing something without actually having to wait on threshold since their not doing a damn thing with it in the last 12 years or so.

treshold is the key, until they have the rights they own the movie.
and..i doubt that WB rally have something to do with mk movies.

to tell yo the truth this is another reason why i'm waiting for WB taking over MK and Ed Boon...

Very true.

I feel that Midway itself is the reason why the MK movie franchise (if you can call it a 'franchise' at all...) has remained stuck in this hole.
I'd really like if Warner Bros was the one to buy the rights to MK, it would be great for the franchise both on the movie field and videogames area.

Well one thing's for sure.
They won't remake them regardless.
