Christopher Lambert interview about movie?

On the IMDB board there is a user posting saying that last week Christopher Lambert did an interview and in it he stated that they have already started filming MK3 and that since it has taken so long they have changed the story of the movie to include the events of Armageddon meaning that the movie will complete the story. However the person has not posted any link to this interview which was suppose to have been on Yahoo Entertainment.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about this?

I'm sorry but i tried to look for it but couldnt find it.So then I looked on Lambert's offical website and this is what it saids...'Mortal Kombat 3' has not been shot yet and still no more news on 'Highlander The Source.'


So sorry to burst your bubble but thats what i found.

The initial info was false, but later appeared a true interview from May:

-The script was rewritten after the release of the last game (MKSM). This This not only confirms that he will be the "MK: Annihilation replacement", but also increase the rumor that Quan Chi would be one of the main villains..

-Also the movie will be released in early 2007.

This yes, but not the Movie Center Interview, this is true and denies the fake info of the fake joblo interview in IMDB wink

Exavior17 is right, I read the interview and apparently the script for this movie would be re-written after mk armageddon is released. So I guess this movie will NOT be an alternative sequel to MK1.

Sucks too, just when it seemed we were starting to hear rumblings that MK3 is gonna begin shooting soon, it turns out to be bs.

I wonder if it will ever be made? Perhaps it will depend on the success of MK: Armageddon.
