Lately, there have been some individuals posting messages at the forum and emailing others claiming that they are actors of the movie; recently, it was a fake who took on the name Keith Cooke, who starred in both Mortal Kombat movies.

These people are fakes, and should be taken, along with any information they claim to have, with a grain of salt. It's people like this who have turned this movie into such a ghost and question over the years.

Think logically here, folks. It's a problem that has been going on with this movies since 1997. Some crackpot claiming they are an actor/director/worker for Threshold/New Line run their mouth off and it spreads like wild fire over the Internet, being passed from ear to ear as true information. I created this site to stop the foolishness; to create a true source for anything that has to do with MK3 and to give a heads up about any false information that is being passed around.

This being said, there are only a handful of things that we know for sure about the movie:

1) Chris Casamassa has confirmed being said to say that it's going to be a late 2004 - early 2005 release.
2) Robin Shou is most likely not returning.
3) Drew McWeeny, co-writer of the script, says it does NOT have an official title.
4) Linden Ashby will most likely return; Chris Lambert and Lynn Red Williams as well.
5) New Line is no longer the distributor.

Keep in mind that this is a Hollywood film; any of the above things can change in the blink of an eye.

Happy days, guys. And don't forget to keep your fingers crossed!

well, how can you be sure that the info above is official? Think what you want, I don't think this movie is even going to be made.
