Were did you hear that at? Theres alot of rumors that go around on the net. Its weird because I just downlaoded MK: Conquest 3 days ago and just got done watching the last episode.

Jesus Christ It really needs a season 2. You can't just leave it like that. Raiden being at the mercy of Shao Kahn....Kung Lao, Taja, Siro, Vorpax, Kitana, Quan-Chi, Shang Tsung, and Reptile are all dead.

Seeing as Conquest is suppose to be a pre-quel to the movies, We all know that characters like Kitana and Shang Tsung can't be dead because they appear in the movies. So they really need to get off their asses and do season 2.

The show had strong ratings, but the networks cancelled them because it costed them to much money to produce...(I don't belive that since they reused footage from MKA movie in some episodes...which makes them really cheap)

I need to know what happens. We all know that Kung Lao goes on to fight Goro and loses...leading the way for Liu Kang. But Conquest still needs to resolve its season finale...

I hope that will be a second season and in it will be shown that the elder gods interrupt Shao Kahn conquest because he don't wait for the next Mk and Kill Kung lao before the next MK tournament.
So he have to wait until a new champion and...MY DREAM:the second season is placed in modern times with Liu Kang as Kung lao role and Siro adn taja replaced by Cage e Sonya!
It will be great!
And don't forget that all the died people can be resurrected!

The closest thing to a second season you're gonna get now is some fanfiction. There's some on the MKC site and one or two on FanFiction.com (look under games, guess it didn't warranty its own spot under TV shows).

I'm hoping...that if that movie ever gets made another TV series will be created, but I doubt it will be a continuation of MK:C.

Yeah!But is it possible that nothing is officially known about a second season.
Ok,evryone had his idead and likes,but there's a lot of people that preferred Defenders of the Realm(i hatethat cartton show),but no one asked in the right time and in the right lace a second season for Cnquest when it was possible.
I don't like Conquest plot,i like just the fighting scene and the new characters Siro and Taja,that were really good better than Kung lao.
I just want that will be in it the same cast of Conqest.
It doesn't matter to me if is retconned or not with the first season.
I want to see another Johnny Cage vs Goro fight!

I heard there was a second season planned, that's why the first season ended as is did. Supposely the Elder Gods were to step in an actually do something about Kahn breaking the rules or something.( A way to bring in Shinnok or Fujin? They already had Quan Chi in the show.) But no one wanted to pay for it even though it had decent ratings. TNT rarely keeps a series going for very long before selling it to someone else or dropping it altogether. It was rumored they offered it to Sci-Fi but they weren't interested.

Well why they did not make directly a DVD version ?
So all the fans will be happy and no one has to buy the license.
A home movie cinema producitons will be great.
I wish also it will be region code-free with all languages subtitles so i can understan in italian what they say and in the same time learn a little more english!

Sorry to say, it was planned but never filmed. So no straight to DVD series sad to say. Even if it was filmed, its hard enough for those of us in the the USA to get the show as it is. We have to import it from UK or Australia (sp?) and get a region free DVD player to watch a few of the episodes.

Our only (and its a slim one) hope is that when (or if) the new MK movie makes it out that they might re-air the original series and/or MAYBE...MAYBE create a new series if the movie does well enough.

I keep hoping they would start writing books based off of MK: Conquest like they do for the old Star Trek (it also had a short run but look at it now). Guess they're holding the rights to the MK name a little tighter now-a-days.
