And Bloody eyes, even though that's what the subtitles on our (portuguese) DVD says, if you listen to it, Kahn didn't kill Rain because Rain didn't make Kabal and Stryker beg for mercy before killing them, but because Rain let them live even though they were captured. It's still pretty stupid, though.

First of all, it's subtitles, not legends .
I do have both the DVD and the VHS. The DVD is really cheap, and it's nice to have because it's actually a 'Best Of' edition, so it has the little protective cape that 'special' DVDs usually have. I think you should get it, even though the movie sucks, it's always nice to go back and laugh at it, or just watch some of the fights (which are nice). Also, it has the trailer and tv advertisements, and some nice interviews to cast members, producer Larry Kasanoff and Johnny Leonetti. It's so funny, because Larry sounds like a frog and he's talking about the movie like it's going to be a work of art, and both him and Robin Shou say that MKA is going to be so much better than the first movie... righto.

Also, Kasanoff says that the martial artists in MKA were casted over three years. Funny, because MKA started shooting TWO years after the first movie.

IN Mortal Kombat 1, they use the same footage of the building in the beginng of the fight with Kano and the fight with the bamboo sticks

When Shao Khan first speaks in Annihilation, he indirectly quotes a passage from the bible (stating that humanity was created in 6 days, erroneously). How can he know this passage? True, his father was an Elder God, but there is nothing to indicate that they gave Shao Khan knowledge of what the Bible said, or that he picked one up from somewhere. He's an Emperor of another dimension. I highly doubt he gets many missionaries knocking at his door (and, if he does, he probably vaporize them before they even say anything).

I think that one is far too obvious to be an actual mistake. It seems like it was done on purpose to show that Johnny Cage isn't perhaps as smart as he'd like to think he is.

Yeah, I agree. I always thought that scene was supposed to be like that, to show how irrational Johnny can be. But the next bit when Liu can be heard talking when his lips arent moving, is just bad editing.

And the car is very hard to see imo. I think I saw one pass in the background, but I cant be sure...

also when jonny cage is about to fight scorpion in the forest a car goes by in the background. you need to really be paying attention to see it.

Ass backward!! More fuel to the bloody fire.....crappy costumes,crappy acting,crappy fight scenes,and crappy editing. This movie was a joke...it had to be. No serious filmaker could make such misakes.

It is so0o0o funny to watch Baraka turn to Rain when he dies. Anyways I watched the Mk1 Johnny vs. Scorpion scene alot and I can't find a car. I found a red flash go across the screen but when you get a good look at it, it is a sticker on a tree. Someone please point out where the car is... please!!!

right before johnny starts running towards Scorpion the camera is on Johnny, watch for a little white flash near the centre of the screen

Actually, you see the car drive by AFTER Scorpion first throws his "harpoon" at Johnny...and he calls it back...Johnny looks around, when Scorpion disppears after that...when he's looking around, you see the car in the background, drive past, very briefly.

I dont know if anyone has noticed this, but during the Lui Kang/SHoa Kahn fight, towards the end when Lui Kang does like a head scissors to Kahn, when Kahn hits the dirt, you can cleary see the floor bounce, like it is made from wood.

In the Jax and sonya vs Cyrax and henchmen fight, you can see when Sonya fights the henchmen, in the background Lynn Williams(Jax) and J.J.Perry (Cyrax) can be seen rehearsing their coreography.
In the Rayden vs Zaterrans fight, where the hell did the 3rd Zaterran go?

In the Mileena vs. Sonya fight, when Sonya kills Mileena, Mileena's back is covered in mud. Then in the next scene, her back is a lot cleaner. I guess that's a really small blooper...
