Nothing really new, but he did say he wants to do MK3, but there are 'limitations' to them doing it, according to him.
Check it out.

Thanks for the update, I get the feeling they are leaving Shou in the dark as to if he'll even be in the next movie, let alone if there will be a next movie.

If Shou is gonna be in MK3, I hope he'll look good like he did in the first one. Good at acting that is.
I don't get why in the first one he looked like he knew what he was doing as he played his character nicely, but in MKA he looked bad! He looked like he had forgotten how to act. Since he was the fight choreographer for MKA, I guess he was too busy worrying about the fights rather than the way he was acting.
Anyway I've heard Shou was disgusted with the bad acting job he did in MKA. Does anyone know if that's true?

Man i would be really embarrased even being part of the movie. It must be more embarrasing being the main character of the sight for noones eyes movie!! lol. If i was like directing the 3rd movie i would forget about the 2nd movie and go directly from the first one the right way! remember that scary lookn kahn in the end of the first kombat(not that i was scared to see him), thats not what he looked like n the 2nd(aka mortal kombat abomination).

Yeah I would've kept that scary look Kahn had at the end of MK1 too. That looked more believable too. In MKA it looked like he had changed outfits and gotten plastic surgery in between the 2 seconds of unfilmed MK1 and MKA (WHAT???)!

I don't know how Robin feels about MKA. But keep in mind that Robin Shou also choreographed the best fights in the first MK movie, and that didn't stop him from doing a good job acting.
