There was a rumor some time ago that he was being looked at to play Liu Kang. I think he looks the part and he definitely has the skills, but I don't trust IMDB. It's not super-reliable.

They should get whoever does the practical monsters in Guillermo Del Toro's movies to make Goro, they always look realistic.

the director worries me, he wants to make MK too diferent for my liking, I think the movie will be called Mortal Kombat and characters will have names from MK but other than that it will be nothing like MK :(

hope he proves me wrong, I want to see STRYKER have a decent part in the movie, in Legacy they diddn't even give him a fight scene and Stryker is one of many characters that need more attention - one of my favourite characters

Sorry to disappoint you,but the events will be about MK tournament on Shang's island or territory or whatever Kevin has in mind. Doubt we will see Stryker there,maybe in one of Sonya's scenes BEFORE she goes there.
