That's right, Mortal Kombat: The Album!

This was the beginning of the MK merchandise machine starting to get a little out of hand. No lie, I bought it shortly after it came out, and held onto it until 2010, when I had to get rid of nearly my entire CD collection because I was moving to a new place. I burned all but one of the tracks onto my iTunes (left the Goro one off, as it was the worst of the bunch). And two decades later it's just as much dopey fun entertainment as it was back in the day.

If you ever owned the album, share your memories on here. Did you get it when it first came out? Heck, do you still own a copy? (And do you still bump it?)

Why do people feel the need to blame moving on the reason they have to throw shit away? Seriously... I've moved three times and I've only accumulated more junk (for the lack of a better term) because of it. I have to say, most of those tracks are crap. But that's just my opinion.

I actually got this album many years go because I love the classic MK games. I used to have it on tape, but my wife ended up buying it at Walmart while holidaying in Florida even before we met. She was SO surprised to find it there since she was from the UK :)

Used to listen to the album and the MK movie soundtrack while working at my weekend job at data entry.

I'm aware that most people don't really like it very much, but I enjoy it so much that, even today, I have Sub-zero's, Johnny's, Sonya's and Rayden's songs saved on my Blackberry and listen to them (among dozens of other great songs there) when I'm driving.
