...and if you have read them, what kind of review would you give them? As far as I know there were the two movie adaptaions and a book by Jeff Rovin.

I have the one title Mortal Kombat somewhere but was somewhat disappointed in the story. I think this was most likely because I found it and read it right after getting the MK:DA game. In that book, the story takes place before the tournament and most of the interaction between characters made no sense with the way the story ended up in the games, movies, etc. If I've didn't know the Mortal Kombat storylines as well as I do or read the book when the first MK game came out it would most likely have been more entertaining.

With MK You can NEVER go into reading a book or comic and expect it to be anything like the game storylines or movies/shows . It almost never happens.... kinda like everyone has to make up their own story for mk rather then stick to whats already there.

I know that...but compared to the other storylines this one was lacking in comparison. Perhaps I was expecting too much.

Thanks for the responses. I wouldn't expect the books to add all that much or follow continuity given the games' story lines. I was just wondering if they were good reads.

...And the best thing anyone could have learned from "Annihilation" was the tag line..."Destroy All Expectations"
