You got so many other movie companies risking their jobs and security on worse movies then MK2.

We have or had or going to have sequels that shouldn't even be made.

Take for example.
Scream 4 is in preproduction and thats going straight to dvd far as I know.

Then you got bloodrayne 3 which shouldn't even be thought of but whatever its still happening.

And you had another i know what you did last summer movie made and although I ever saw it I heard it was bad but yet you still have companies making them.

So why not MK3?Other horrible movies are being made so why won't threshold cash in knowing even if its bad people will still go and see it or they'll buy it on DVD.Hell street fighter 2 is being made and no word on MK3.Oh and I forgot and I know I mention this in the general discussion board. But you have Starship Troopers 3 making its way to dvd in june or july and even though the second movie suck and there really was no need for a third they still went ahead and made another one.

Threshold hasn't made a film since Mortal Kombat Annihilation. The studio has no money to put into making a film, nor would it be financially feasible for them to make a sequel to a decade-old box office bomb.

If that were the case and I truly believe it is I think when their rights for the movie is up they better not fucking renew it cause I think it goes back to Midway and they shop the rights around until movie compaines start to bid on it.

Larry Kasanoff, as he's done with most of the properties they own, has probably ensured that they own the rights, permanently. If Threshold goes under, which it probably won't thanks to their other properties, the rights would go to whoever buys the company.
