That's not a bad idea, however it would be hard to make an entire film revolving around Sub-Zero fighting Scorpion. But they should definitely make a movie based on MK Mytholigies:Sub Zero in which Sub-Zero would fight scorpion anyway.

actually, itd be easy. just use storyline from mythologies and the games. itd be a great movie. you could follow scorps storyline, then subz's, then scorps again. then, the end would be this huge final climactic battle between them. like in freddy vs jason. now, ive never seen that movie, but isnt it the same idea from what ive gotten from hearing bout it. itd just be mk style.

sub zero's story is way longer than scorpion's, so i don't think they could do scorpion - sub zero- scorpion then final fight. besides you wouldn't have the first sub zero fight scorpion would you? it's still a nice idea of making a story about those 2, and maybe quan chi too cause he killed scorpion's family and scorpion is blaming sub zero for it. how's that?

they could. they could have this just huge beginning with that with subz 1 and scorp in mythologies and then use it as a sorta of flashback alot. if i start getting bored after i write the sequel to AND and i dont have any real ideas for a sequel to the current sequel(pretty much id need a new badguy) then i might as well write a prequel based off mytholgies

that could work. maybe they'll do a movie like that in the MK series someday. even if MK3 is the last movie, they could come up with another series or keep going with conquests. that really was an awesome series. sucks i didn;t think of taping all the episodes. MK stuff is gonna keep showing up as long as the series makes money

Mortal Kombat doesnt revolve around Scorpion and Sub-Zero even though it would be a good idea to make a movie about them.

the movie would be cool if they started from childhood, and traced their lives to how they are in the positions they are today. and then quan chi would come in the picture because of how it went... and also, how shang tsung got sub and scorp under his spell like in MKI.

It would be no better of an idea than it is to hammer a nail into the side of your head. For these reasons:

1) Just about every "versus" movie that has come out has been crappy.

Alien vs Predator
Freddy vs Jason
King Kong vs Godzilla

The problem with versus movies is they rape charactors or their originality. Like Predator for instance...one, count'em ONE Alien took out TWO predators. Man they went out like punks, that doesn't happen EVER.

2) Versus movies are known for not having a decent script. Sub and Scorpion don't have much to say in the first place therefore whatever they would be forced to say would be no more homosexual than Ermac.

3) They would be much better off as seperate stories with one playing a supporting role in the other's movie.

I don't think it would turn out the same because the characters are from the same world, whereas the movies you mentioned are characters from different movies...

As for the idea, I think it'd be good. But I was thinking *being a Kitana fan if you couldn't tell*, maybe it should part of a series. Like one story could be about Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero. Then after like 3 episodes *hour long each* they should do other characters; like Mileena vs Kitana *yay!* or Frost vs. Sonya, or other stories that weren't really touched upon in the game...

and to make it long enough, it shouldn't be JUST about the 2 characters, it should tell their past, and show all the different characters they meet until the big climactic fight.
